Dynasty Rankings Updates (1/8/24): Chase Brown, Jordan Love, Devin Singletary

Dynasty Rankings Update: 1/5/24

Chase Brown, Bengals
Age: 23
Movement: Rising
Previous Rank: 235
Updated Rank: 130
Brown’s fantasy outlook was prematurely maligned by a lackluster Senior Bowl in which he failed to secure a handful of catches and was generally disappointing as a between the tackles runner. Chalk it up to nerves I guess, because Brown, this season, has more closely resembled the shifty playmaker that we came to know on his impressive game tape, logging over 50 yards in 3 of 5 appearances this season. Joe Mixon failed to log 100 yards on the ground in any game this season, and it seems like he’s starting to lose a step, so Brown is primed to gain ground this off season on one of the league’s best offenses.

Jordan Love, Packers
Age: 25
Movement: Rising
Previous Rank: 171
Updated Rank: 66
Love has kept the Packers relevant, in fantasy and otherwise, with his big arm and unflappable onfield personality. No, he’s not quite Aaron Rodgers, but neither is Aaron Rodgers at this point. What Love is is the no.5 QB in fantasy this season, responsible for over 4,000 all-purpose yards and 34 TDs. I’m champing at the bit to see what he does with a healthy and experienced receiver corps in 2024.

Devin Singletary, Texans
Age: 26
Movement: Rising
Previous Rank: 154
Updated Rank: 132
Like a feral cat, Singletary landed on his feet in Houston, surreptitiously taking the starting RB role for the Texans not by force but by necessity. Dameon Pierce just couldn’t suss out Houston’s pass heavy offense, but it was second nature to Singletary who thrives in such situations. Pierce is working his way back to fantasy relevance, but Singletary maintains a firm hold on the top spot for now. Still relatively young, Singletary will grab the hearts of many a zero RB adherent in 2024, should the Texans not add a back in the draft.
