Dynasty Rankings Update: 3/18/24

Kenny Pickett, Eagles
Age: 26
Movement: Falling
Previous Rank: 250
Updated Rank: unranked
The writing was on the wall for Pickett when Mason Rudolph was chosen to play over Pickett in the Steelers’ Wild Card loss to the Bills last season. With Russell Wilson brought into Pittsburgh last week, it was only a matter of time before the Steelers moved on from him. Now, destined to be a backup in the Jalen Hurts led Philly offense, Pickett is on the track to become a career clipboard holder. He’s off the list for the foreseeable future.

Van Jefferson, Steelers
Age: 27
Movement: Rising
Previous Rank: unranked
Updated Rank: 239
Jefferson has flirted with fantasy relevance throughout his career, and now that he’s a Steeler in a WR corps that just lost Diontae Johnson, there’s room to grow for the savvy route runner. George Pickens is the no.1, no doubt, but Jefferson has a shot to becoming the no.2 WR in Pittsburgh come season’s start. He needs to be on the list once again.

Sam Darnold, Vikings
Age: 26
Movement: Rising
Previous Rank: unranked
Updated Rank: 249
Darnold somehow manages to stay relevant despite not being anyone’s idea of a franchise QB. Now the interim starting QB for the Vikings, Darnold is likely to make starts for at least a few games, depending on what the Vikings do in the draft. Even if Minnesota trades up and grabs a top QB, Darnold will play stop gap until that QB is ready, if he even gets ready. Darnold will have some of the finest WRs in the league at his disposal during that time, as well. He could end up surprising a lot of people in fantasy this season.
