Ke’Shawn Vaughn
Age: 25
Movement: Rising
Previous Rank RB36
Updated Rank RB32
Vaughn keeps vaulting up our dynasty rankings, this most recent move coming on the heels of GM Jason Licht’s glowing endorsement of the versatile RB in the wake of off-season upheaval in Tampa Bay. At this year’s Combine, Light stated that he saw Vaughn as a starting back, which is major considering that both Ronald Jones and Leonard Fournette are free agents. Vaughn is in line for a come-up this season, at least in touches, and HC Bruce Arians also saying that a trade for a veteran QB seems out of the question means that there will either be a rookie or cheap free agent under center – unless they go with Kyle Trask, the only current QB on their roster. This type of situation points to heavy run-game action behind a line that was built to protect the likes of Tom Brady.
Rondale Moore
Age: 22
Movement: Rising
Previous Rank WR36
Updated Rank WR35
We had high expectations for Moore coming into his rookie season in 2021, a year that was marked by inconsistent production from the speedy playmaker. With both AJ Green and Christian Kirk entering free agency though, Moore is slated for a big increase in usage in 2022. HC Kliff Kingsbury said the goal is to get the ball to Moore in space, which is a must for an undersized but explosive player of Moore’s ilk. With Zach Ertz, Chase Edmonds and James Conner all entering free agency in addition to Green and Kirk, the Cardinals will need all the playmakers they can get, and Moore is one of the more obvious assets at their disposal.
Eno Benjamin
Age: 23
Movement: Rising
Previous Rank RB66
Updated Rank RB58
There are plenty of moving variables in the Cardinals backfield this off-season, as both Chase Edmonds and James Conner are free agents, but one thing is certain and that is the increased involvement of Eno Benjamin. The Cardinals could conceivably bring either player back, but Benjamin makes Edmonds redundant, as both are 5’9”, 210(ish) pass-catching backs. With DeAndre Hopkins and Rondale Moore being the only certainties in the receiving corps for Arizona, another reliable set of hands will be vital on a team that is insistent on giving QB Kyler Murray help. The Cardinals may add another back in the draft too, but for now, Benjamin is slowly but surely increasing his dynasty stock.
