Jarvis Landry, Saints
Age: 29
Movement: Rising
Previous Rank WR91
Updated Rank WR81
Landry was mired in no man’s land after not getting signed in March, going so far as to fire his agent at the time. His landing in New Orleans gives him a new lease on life, though it’s a prove it deal by all accounts. Landry will get to work with Jameis Winston, who’s coming off of knee surgery but is still a better QB for fantasy WRs than Baker Mayfield. Both Landry and Michael Thomas are chain movers underneath, but Landry should still find enough targets to sustain WR3 numbers in PPR formats.
Bryan Edwards, Falcons
Age: 24
Movement: Rising
Previous Rank WR84
Updated Rank WR82
The Falcons WR corps is shaping up bit by bit, this week with the addition of 3rd year player Bryan Edwards. A 3rd round pick in 2020, Edwards’ talents have been largely wasted in Las Vegas up to this point, but the size/speed athlete won’t have any excuses not to produce in a super shallow Falcons receiving pool. If nothing else changes, Edwards should enter the 2022 season as the no.2 WR in Atlanta.
Chase Edmonds and Raheem Mostert, Dolphins
Age: 26, 30
Movement: Falling
Previous Rank RB44, RB45
Updated Rank RB52, RB53
The Miami backfield was convoluted enough as is, with Edmonds, Mostert, Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed all in competition for significant touches, but the Dolphins went and added Sony Michel to the mix to make things even more interesting. Now, it’s anyone’s guess as to who will lead the Miami backfield come September. This could be a RBBC of Patriot proportions, so I’m hands off all Dolphins RBs until further notice.
