Hunter Renfrow
Age: 27
Movement: Falling
Previous Rank WR49
Updated Rank WR53
I realize that Renfrow just signed a two-year deal with the Raiders, but I also realize that Davante Adams is now the alpha in the receiving corps, and Darren Waller won’t fall far behind on the pecking order, as far as targets go. That leaves Renfrow as the third in line, at best, on a team lead by Derek Carr, who though Adams somehow places in the same league with former QB Aaron Rodgers, isn’t enough of an asset as a passer to maintain three relevant pass-catchers on a weekly basis. I still like Renfrow fine as a flex in PPR formats, but I can’t sleep at night with him ahead of Allen Robinson and JuJu Smith-Schuster in their respective offenses.

Darius Slayton
Age: 25
Movement: Falling
Previous Rank WR104
Updated Rank WR119
I always liked Slayton as a receiving prospect, despite his rawness. Reportedly struggling to catch passes, and playing mostly with the second team in live drills thus far, Slayton seems to be regressing as a Giant. There’s a chance they may even cut him, as doing so would save the Giants $2.54 million in cap space. A change of scenery might actually do Slayton some good, but for now, he’s got to take a nose dive in the rankings.

Chris Carson, Seahawks
Age: 28
Movement: Falling
Previous Rank RB66
Updated Rank RB77
Carson’s chances of ever returning to his former self seem to diminish by the week, as most recent news of his recovery from neck surgery is unencouraging at best. At worst, it’s downright dismal, with HC Carroll going so far as to allude to the possible end of Carson’s career in the NFL. At this point, Carson playing a down in 2022 is anything but given, leaving Rashaad Penny and Kenneth Walker sitting pretty in all formats.

  1. 14 team SF/TE Premium dynasty league – someone (looks like accidently) dropped Dalton Schultz. He’ll be available via FAAB bidding. What do you think he’s worth? 80%? 90%? 100%? (This is distinct from what I think he’ll actually go for; I’m sure some team will bid 100%) FAAB is for the entire season and does not reset for the NFL season

    1. In TE premium, do you really think you’ll have a better waiver pickup all year than Schultz? I’m not so sure you will. It’s close to an all-in type move man. Uncomfortable and risky no doubt, but you’re right in your instinct that that’s what it will take.

      1. I’m with you on this. Thanks!
