Brandon Aiyuk, 49ers
Age: 24
Movement: Falling
Previous Rank WR44
Updated Rank WR54
Aiyuk has apparently struggled in 49ers minicamp, dropping balls and not playing in sync with 2nd-year QB Trey Lance. With a slow start to last season, after being benched by HC Shanahan for 2 weeks, Aiyuk appears to be starting off on the wrong foot again. It seems necessary to drop him down a few pegs until he shows some considerable fantasy upside.
Kenneth Walker, Seahawks
Age: 22
Movement: Falling
Previous Rank RB23
Updated Rank RB34
Walker could be the future for the Seahawks, with both Chris Carson and Rashaad Penny on expiring deals, but right now he doesn’t even look like the 3rd down back for Seattle. Both Travis Homer and DeeJay Dallas seem like better fits for the role, as Walker only caught 19 passes in 3 seasons at Michigan State, leaving Walker in a change of pace role while the Seahawks squeeze every bit of Penny that they can while they have him.
N’Keal Harry, Bears
Age: 24
Movement: Rising
Previous Rank Unranked
Updated Rank WR104
Harry isn’t on a better offense, after moving from New England to Chicago in a trade for a 7th round pick, but he is in a better position to make an impact in fantasy. The only receiver that’s a certainty to be ahead of Harry in the pecking order is Darnell Mooney, though I still probably like Byron Pringle better, based on what we’ve seen from both him and Harry thus far in their pro careers. That being said, Harry’s considerable height advantage over the other proposed starters and athleticism make him a viable candidate to see starts at the receiver position in 2022. For that reason he goes from the mire of the unranked into ranked territory.
