Ty Chandler, Vikings
Age: 26

Chandler is shaping up to be more of a 1B than a backup to Aaron Jones in Minnesota, but his ADP isn’t quite reflecting that, as guys like Jerome Ford, who has a less direct path to fantasy relevance, are being taken ahead of him. His main competition is 29 years old and only played 11 games last season due to nagging hamstring injuries. An asset in the passing game, in addition to being a solid between the tackles runner, Chandler has a real shot to go big this season.

Xavier Gipson, Jets

Rookie Malachi Corley is being talked up in New York, but currently it’s Gipson who stands the best shot at starting the season out in 3-wide sets in the slot for the Jets. Gipson is a solid kick returner too, and though Corley will probably work his way onto the field more and more this season, Gipson looks like he’s going to get his chances to make an impact early on.

I got laughed at for suggesting this not long ago, but it’s becoming more and more apparent that Gray will have a considerable role in the Giants backfield this season. He’s been working with the ones on a consistent basis in camp, and his main competition for touches, Devin Singletary, has never had 250 touches in a season. On a team that’s probably going to be playing from behind a lot, it makes sense that Gray, a legit pass-catcher, will get a lot of garbage time work in addition to already working in with Singletary. He got onto the top 250 last week, and now he’s moving up.
