Garbage Grab: Week 16
Garbage Grab: Week 16
Dorian “The Trashman” Colbert, RosterWatch.com
So, this is it for most of us. It’s the culmination of at least four months of planning, sweating, and maybe a smidgen of crying…er, eye sweating. Not to anyone’s surprise, a whole slew of injury situations have burst out of the woodworks, so I made another longer list of dumpster darlings who are available in 30% or fewer of leagues. Though they may need a little rinsing, the guys could potentially propel owners to pay-dirt this weekend. Several players a la Cotchery, Alexander, and Sanzenbacher could see increased looks this week according to RW’s own second team doctrine, in which second teamers get increased action due to the backup QB having to start. QB’s are creatures of habit, so they tend to look for the guys they throw to in practice. Other players’ success is contingent upon someone else potentially sitting; such as Royster, Morris, and Brown. Whatever the situation, you can count on the Trashman to bring you the gnarliest of waiver wire finds to beat, and in the process embarrass, your competition. If this is your last week, it’s been a great ride. We at RosterWatch will continue to bring you all the latest info on the upcoming season, so stay in touch. And remember, second place is just the first loser, so make us proud!
