Jags, Jets Feeling Lucky with Tebow
Jags, Jets Feeling Lucky with Tebow

You know you’re doing something right when you’re the least accurate quarterback in the NFL and teams are still vying for your services. The race to acquire Tim Tebow is on, and Jacksonville and New York, That other New York, are taking the lead. I can’t imagine these teams see much more in Tebow than a way to galvanize their locker rooms and their cities in Jacksonville’s case. He probably won’t be a starter anywhere he lands. But things have a way for working out for Tim. In either city, he stands a chance at winning the QB battle, considering the current talent at that position. Neither Mark Sanchez or Blaine Gabbert played impressively throughout last season, and unless they get some much needed guts in the offseason, they will continue to disappoint. From a fantasy perspective, given the chance to start, Tebow is a better play than either of these guys. Personally, I hope he gets that opportunity. There are few quarterbacks I had more fun watching last season. Either team would be a decent fit for Tim, as they are both run first, run second types of teams. Tebow took a good defense into the playoffs. Or was it the other way around? Anyway, It would be interesting to see what he can do with a great defense. That’s why I like him with the Jets.
