Dynasty Rankings Update: 7/31/24

Dalton Kincaid, Bills
Age: 25
Movement: Falling
Previous Rank: 32
Updated Rank: 36
We’re well aware of Kincaid’s elite abilities at the TE position, but in the short time that training camps have been going on, we’re also becoming aware of just how big of a role a healthy Dawson Knox is likely to play for Buffalo this season. Knox isn’t going anywhere, and though Kincaid has the big play potential to put up monster games, I don’t see him putting up the premier level numbers on a consistent basis that some of the guys he’s currently ranked with are going to. We have to look at things for what they are, not what we’d like them to be, and the reality is that Kincaid is going to be splitting time for the foreseeable future.

Chase Brown, Bengals
Age: 24
Movement: Rising
Previous Rank: 145
Updated Rank: 124
With all the praise and playing time Brown is getting through camp thus far, it’s hard to not raise his ranking through the roof. He’s been getting the majority of 1st team reps thus far, and with the Bengals implementing their RBs more in the passing game that just puts him in an even better position to succeed this season. We may be looking at a 1A – 1B situation with Zack Moss at worst for the 2nd year RB.

Kendre Miller, Saints
Age: 22
Movement: Faling
Previous Rank: 69
Updated Rank: 87
Miller just can’t stay healthy, and his HC Dennis Allen is well aware. Allen has made multiple disparaging comments in regard to Miller, the latest implying that there’s a chance he may not even make the team. I doubt that Miller gets cut, but with what is now becoming a laundry list of nagging injuries plaguing him throughout his short career, expectations for Miller have to be tempered.

In a 12 team PPR (2 keeper league), was originally thinking of Kamara in the 5th round and Miller in the 13th as a handcuff but after hearing about his injury and reading this not sure that is the right path. Would it be more beneficial to keep Rachaad White in the 4th or Jordan Addison in the 6th rather than stash Miller as a handcuff?
