Ratty HeadshotEvery Sunday, football fans everywhere get to relax and enjoy a sport we all love. To make Sundays even better, people play against friends and random people online at sites like Fanduel and Draftkings. Well, for those people who need some help with their lineups tomorrow, here is my optimal lineup for this weekend.

The Week 2 RosterWatch Two-Step DFS Cheat Sheet for DraftKings and FanDuel is now available for download to RW PRO users.

. . .

Quarterback: Tony Romo vs. Eagles ($8,500)

Despite not having Dez Bryant, Tony Romo is a guy to play this week. Romo will be going up against a defense that looked extremely lost against the Atlanta Falcons last week. With the Cowboys’ offensive line, Romo will have time in the pocket to find success against the Eagles’ secondary with or with Bryant.

Running Back 1: Justin Forsett vs. Raiders ($7,800)

While Justin Forsett struggled against the Denver Broncos, but when he goes up against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, Forsett will have plenty of opportunities to succeed. The Raiders have a decent, young defense, but Forsett will be able to carry the football around 20 times in this game.

Running Back 2: Chris Ivory vs. Colts ($6,900)

To keep Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts’ offense on the sideline, the New York Jets will feature a ton of Chris Ivory on Monday night – assuming he is good to go as both Ivory and the team have suggested. It was reported throughout the offseason that Ivory was looking incredible and he showed off his ability in Week 1 by running for around 100 yards and two touchdowns. I could see that happening happening again on Monday night.

Wide Receiver 1: Terrance Williams vs. Eagles ($6,300)

With Bryant getting injured for around four-to-six weeks, Terrance Williams is now the No. 1 receiver in Dallas and with the Eagles’ inability to cover the pass, Williams could have a solid day in Week 2. However, if the Eagles use Byron Maxwell to mirror Williams, there’s a chance he could be limited. Nevertheless, I’m guessing that Williams will catch around six catches for 75 yards and a touchdown.

Wide Receiver 2: Brandin Cooks vs. Buccaneers ($7,400)

If there’s one team in football that can’t defend the pass, it’s the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And if there’s one quarterback in football that can find holes in the defense, it’s Drew Brees. That being said, I have full faith in Brandin Cooks catching around eight catches for over 100 yards.

Wide Receiver 3: Jarvis Landry vs. Jaguars ($7,100)

While DeVante Parker will come back in Week 2 and steal some targets away from the Miami Dolphins’ No. 1 receiver, Jarvis Landry is still a huge threat to bring down crucial passes in the redzone. Landry has the makings of catching a touchdown against a less than desirable Jaguars defense.

Tight End: Jason Witten vs. Eagles ($6,000)

When Bryant got injured, Romo kept looking Jason Witten’s way. In fact, when the Cowboys went down 10 with about eight minutes to go against the New York Giants, Romo went 11-12 for 148 yards and two touchdowns. Both of those touchdowns went to Witten. That being said, the chemistry between this duo has been there for more than a decade and against a thin Eagles’ defense, expect Witten to get a ton of opportunities in the redzone.

Defense: Ravens D/ST vs. Raiders ($5,000)

Baltimore’s defense lost a huge piece in Week 1 when Terrell Suggs tore his achilles. However, they still have an elite pass rusher in Elvis Dumervil. Also, the Raiders are going against a Raiders offense that gives the football away a ton. Jimmy Smith could potentially bring back another interception in this game.

Kicker: Matt Bryant vs. Giants ($5,000)

The Falcons did an excellent job last week against the Eagles at moving the football down the field. However, more times than not, their offense stalled, which led to Matt Bryant scoring 17 points in fantasy football. Against a bad Giants defense, Bryant could be in for another week.

  1. With Alshon out in a ppr league should I sub in: Charles Johnson, Agholor or Stevie Johnson? Leaning Stevie?

Also JStew or Ivory in Flex?

    Thanks again Fellas!

  2. Should I cut bait on Bradford, Charles Johnson or Agholor? I am looking at waiver pick-ups which have to be better.

    1. i’m not attached to any of them right now, especially in redrfts

  3. In a 10 team full ppr i have a trade offer I would receive Jeremy Hill for Justin Forsett. Who do you guys like long term?

    1. i think hill gets the edge. taliaferro is vulturing goal line.

      1. So the worry about Taliaferro is greater than Bernard?
