10-team Dynasty, 1QB, PPR,
Start: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 2 FLEX, 1 TE
QB: Jordan Love, Daniel Jones, Anthony Richardson
RB: Bijan Robinson, Breece Hall, Omarion Hampton, Braelon Allen, Wilson, Sean Tucker, Kendre Miller
WR: Emeka Egbuka, Nico Collins, A.J. Brown, Jaylen Waddle, DJ Moore, Khalil Shakir, Jalen McMillan, Tre’ Harris, Rashid Shaheed, Darnell Mooney, Tank Dell, Malik Washington, Dontayvion Wicks, Cedric Tillman, Tory Horton
TE: T.J. Hockenson, Cade Otton, Theo Johnson
Picks: 1.02, 2.02, 4.02
Following up on this roster now that the real NFL Draft is over and my rookie draft is just days away. Alex, I tried the advice you gave me to offer Cade Otton and Tre’ Harris for Isaiah Likely, but that manager just officially declined the deal.
Since that trade fell through, I need to figure out my next moves. I’ve decided I’m not going to use my 4.02 pick anymore, so I really just need to cut 2 guys now to fit my incoming rookies (unless I pull off some consolidation trade before then).
My plan is locked in to take Carnell Tate at the 1.02, but I’m looking for your full perspective on the rest of this board and roster:
1) Who are the final 2 cuts on this roster now?
2) Who are the primary rookie targets I should be looking at with my 2.02 … I know to use the cheat sheet but wanted to get your thoughts based on my roster.
3) Who on this team should I be actively trying to sell, and what kind of targets or positions should I be buying to turn this into a true win-now contender? Should I look to move the 2.02 or my 2027 picks to make a deal happen?
1 cuts are Tory Horton and your choice of Kendre, ARich or Tillman, all of whom still have outside chances of not being dead
2 I would be targeting Nick Songleton or Jonah Williams at RB or Antonio Williams at WR – if Stowers falls I’d be interested in him as well
3 I would be trying to sell DJ Moore. Maybe you could package him and one of your TEs for Likely or McLaurin etc and a 2027 pick
4 don’t trade away 2027 picks
Jonah Coleman**
Thanks for the reply, Alex! Glad you caught the Jonah Coleman fix but I knew what you meant !
Tried taking your trade advice: The Likely owner shot down Otton/Harris and hates DJ Moore. Offered DJ Moore for McLaurin + a 2027 1st, got rejected, and just countered with a 2027 2nd instead.
But a massive blockbuster just happened. Another manager traded Bowers for Rome Odunze, a 2027 1st, and a 2027 2nd (he now has three 2027 1sts and two 2nds!
The twist is he told me he doesn’t even like Odunze! I tried to buy him, but he refused to consider Waddle or DJ Moore in deals and tried to get Egbuka. Then he wanted my AJ Brown + 2.02 for Odunze, which as Pats fans I’m hoping he comes here!
Here is his updated roster:
QB: Kyler Murray, Sam Darnold, Justin Fields
RB: De’Von Achane, Quinshon Judkins, Rhamondre Stevenson, Trey Benson, Jaydon Blue
WR: Chris Olave, Rome Odunze, DK Metcalf, Jordan Addison, Josh Downs, Isaac TeSlaa, Marquise Brown, Andrei Iosivas, Darius Slayton, Xavier Hutchinson
TE: Harold Fannin, Dawson Knox, Cole Kmet
How should I counter this guy to pry Odunze away or rather someone else?
He doesn’t seem to hate Odunze that much if he’s not considering trading for a deal involving Waddle or DJM. I would try to find an owner who does not hate DJM and see if you could trade him. Some deals I’ve seen go down for him that you could model:
