This is a dynasty question w/ a look to 2026. We have 225 team cap and every yr you keep a player their salary increases by $3. Anyways, I have Walker at $22 and drafted Zach Charb last year for $9 as a handcuff since Walker is always hurt. I want to throw him back in the pot, but am worried he’ll get bid up past $12 and I do not want to lose him. I see no way the Seahawks resign or franchise Walker which gives me ZC as a lead back at a very reasonable $15 next year.
Also, draft Ray Davis last year for $5 and I don’t have Cook. I want to throw him back as well but the Cook owner will very likely go over $8 for him. My thought process is the Bills will not sign Cook or tag him and I get Davis as the lead back next year at $11.
I can absorb keeping both guys this year but I always like to go into the auction with the fattest wallet I can.
