PRO RosterWatch Staff Cumulative Pre-NFL Draft 2022 Rookie Rankings (RB, WR)

All of our work, all offseason, comes to its natural end here heading into the NFL draft, after which, everything will have to be assimilated, re-shuffled and re-stacked from top-to-bottom for fantasy purposes.

NFL landing spot and opportunity are critical for fantasy as we all know. But headed into the actual draft, this is the culmination of all of our data – from the eyeball-test at all the offseason events we attend live, to the buzz from the scouting community, to our statistical production models, to Trashman’s trait-based matrices, along with much more. We go on record today with our final staff rankings for the the incoming 2022 RB and WR classes.

Stay tuned to the site on Sunday and Monday as we’ll be rolling out V.1 of the EPIC dynasty draft cheat sheet for 2022 rookie drafts and the BIG update to the Best-Ball Cheat Sheet v.2.0 to account for rookie landing spots within the skeleton.

Here are a few notes about how to read the chart:
listed outside of physical measurables, school, etc. we have the following columns

*Players with a star next to their name did not have a large enough final-year sample of games to use for our production metrics. In these cases, we combined the players’ best season with his truncated final season. In the case of COVID opt-outs, we simply used the season before the opt out.

WRs

40 – 40-yard dash time where available
DOB – date of birth and/or age during rookie season
rec and rec mkt% – receptions in final college season and % of total team receptions accounted for
reYD and reYD mkt% – receiving yards in final college season and % of total team receiving yards accounted for
reTD and reTD mkt% – receiving TDs in final college season and % of total team receiving TDs accounted for
TRPOD – RosterWatch total production coefficient based on market shares outlined above
COMPS – NFL comparisons (stylistic and analytical mix)

RBs

SPARQ% – speed, power, agility, reaction and quickness percentile among NFL RBs
