RosterWatch Week 10 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet Now Available

Byron BylineBuilding a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

You can also find it on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, or anywhere podcasts are found. You can also simply watch it below on YouTube. Listen to the podcast as a supplement to the sheet as you’re setting waiver claims for additional insight, the pod does not give the exact order and/or tiers of the sheet so do not consider it a substitute for using the sheet.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

    Was offered AJ Brown and Tonyan for Drake, Edmonds and Jonnu?

    I think it leaves me too thin at RB but also drake and Edmonds may cannibalize each other? Would it be better to switch out Tonyan for an Akers or RoJo? And does it make sense?

    Trade. I get James Connor. I give Brandin Cooks and Gibson. Its a PPP. My other rbs are Sanders Edmonds. A little nervous about Drake coming back. Other wrs are Keenan, Metcalf, Woods, Godwin.

      You should get a throw-in but I think it’s an OK starting point. That should not be your final deal.

      I would not waste FAAB or waiver priority to get off any of your current players. Clearly JWILL is the most expendable, but I’d see who left over in FA then make the decision.

    If I’m already a Fulgham owner do I make a move for Reagor? Or should I go big on Curtis Samuel?

    Also, with Tonyan’s fallout, is he replaceable by Gesicki or do I ride it out with Tonyan?

      I would not “go big” on Samuel and I would be hesitant to go big on Reagor as a Fulgham owner. I fear that Tonyan might be trending down with Allen Lazard trending back up while Gesicki is seeing the slot run that Isaiah Ford vacated.

    On the podcast I know you mentioned you could drop Laviska for someone higher on the sheet if you had to. Would you drop him for Pittman or Mims if you didn’t need someone this week but may need someone over the next few weeks (deep league with 2 WR and 2 flex spots)?

      With those sorts of WR4 types, it’s all a matter of preference. I wold not be dying to drop him for either of those guys as their WR room teammates are coming back into health.

    Thoughts on sending Josh Allen and W Fuller for D Hopkins? Herbert is my backup plus I’ve got Julio, Golladay , JuJu, Aiyuk and Higgins. Jacobs, Carson, David Johnson, Moss and Leveon as RBs.

      that’s a sick team, and I’d imagine you are in a good spot for the playoffs, so I would absolutely make that sort of trade for the best player in the deal.

    With the news of Perine possibly becoming the workhorse after the bye, where would you roughly slot him in on the cheat sheet?

      Pop:

      Byron can better weigh in on the ranking since he is the architect of the sheet, but I would think it is reasonable to project Perine as RB25ish on any given week. Since the Jets are on bye, you can likely get him on your roster for a zero bid, or pick him up for free after your priority waivers run. Good luck!

      Mike: I’d hold TP through the bye given those options. Its time to stock that bench with backup RBs. If you needed a guy this week, which you dont, then Lindsay would be an option. Good, luck!

    Every week I feel less confident about this squad and this week I’m facing a team with Wilson, Cook, Sanders, Metcalf, Golladay, Goedert in a battle for 2nd overall seeding. Trading is near impossible as these league is full of chicken littles I don’t know and they either reject offers or ignore them so I’m not sure how to make this team more playoff ready?

    1) I want to claim Davis as a defensive move this week because the team I’m facing has Parker, AB, McKissic and Landry as potential FLEX and I’m unsure about TE after losing Kittle a few weeks back but I don’t think I have anyone worth dropping?!

    2) Also I dropped Big Ben for Wentz per rankings and feel sick about it after Wentz cost me a matchup two weeks ago when he flopped vs Dallas so is he really my best option?

    3) Any other moves I should make?

      Wentz is fine- but I think you should play the matchups. You can make a case for Teddy, Foles, Lock, this week. Just keep winning. Maybe stash a QB with a good playoff schedule.

      Mike Davis should def be owned if possible right now, Duke Johnson could be played this wk

      I would like to see you upgrade TE from HH if possible, if not he’s a fine keep. Gesicki would be an interesting add but I don’t like him more than HH yet….

      Only guy I think you can drop is Ertz- but since he’s IR Im not sure that even does you any good. ….

      I would do that deal- it liberates two roster spots- and you get by far the best player- you will be a little thin at RB3, but I think you can work that on the waiver wire or anther trade. Make sure you handcuff Henry w/ Foreman if you do it

    Johnathon Taylor just got dropped in one of my leagues .. im a Mixon/Gio owner and would have to drop Gio to pick him up. Or i also have Dobbins i could drop..Am i overthinking this?? Or just drop Gio??

      I would not drop Gio just yet. Mixons “mid foot sprain” is an injury that is not to be dismissed. We saw Gio come in and produce. He is a hold for now. Other than Dobbins is there another player you can dump?

    For TE I have Goddert but Fant is available. Which one would be the best to ride with this week and the rest of the season or should I try and have both and choose each week? I don’t like carrying two tight ends though.
