RosterWatch Week 11 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet Now Available

Byron BylineBuilding a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

    I’m in a 1pt PPR and I have a flex question:

    Corey Davis, Samaje Perine, Cooper Kupp or Danny Woodhead (if he plays)?

      Let me start by eliminating Woodhead and Perine from the equation. Too early for Woodhead, I want to see him first, so even if he comes back to play, I’d sit him until week 12. I have zero confidence in Perine.

      Kupp provides stability with some upside… but I like Corey Davis for the maximum upside play… I’d roll with Corey Davis (10 targets and a “would be” TD last week that was taken off the board)… Tenn wants this guy to be the #1 and I believe he will be just that.

      Tough decision, nice options. In short, I’m sitting Keenan Allen. He looks banged up and Rivers is in the concussion protocol. The Chargers looking awful doesn’t help either. I’m rolling with Fitz, Cooks, Engram and my man JuJu.

    Stick with Goff, although I like Rivers upcoming schedule pending his concussion situation. Maybe he’d be a good backup- Goff shouldnt be dropped but if he has any horrible upcoming matchups wouldn’t hate matchup playing him with Rivers

    Got hit by the Watson injury and I’m not sure McCowns schedule is that good for the rest of the season. Does Rivers (if he gets through concussion protocol) have enough upside for the rest of the season to trade either Mixon or montgomery for him?

    Or go for his Rivers and A.J. Green for one of my WR and RB? I think he would take Shephard and Freeman for it.

    Good stuff in this week’s podcast. Thanks guys. Seattle fan here. Keep an eye on Mike Davis. That just promoted him to the 53 with Prosise on IR. I think he’ll get a good shot at eating the starting role going forward. McKissick is dynamite in the Thompson role.

    I’m sitting on the top priority this week. Not wise to burn it on Latavius, Perine, or Williams? My backs are weak. Ajayi, Mixon, Martin, and Henry 5-5, fighting for the playoffs. 10 teams, no PPR. I’ve already been holding Corey Davis for a few weeks now.

        I have no idea how Davis didn’t make the 53 after cutdowns, considering how good he looked all through camp and the preseason games. Almost as baffling as letting Collins go. I hope Davis ignites that ground game here. So, how would you rank those 3 backs? I’ve got Latavius, Perine, Williams. Is that crazy?

        Also I’ve got a trade question for another league. 12 teams full PPR. One WR, One RB, three flex lineup. One player keeper. I was offered Wentz for Hunt, straight across. I drafted Hunt for $1, so ideally he’d be the keeper at the same price next year. Should I pull the trigger? Current team is

        WR: AJ, Evans, Keenan, Thielen, Doctson, Gordon
        RB: Ajayi, Hunt, Howard, Henry, Carson (IR stash, also drafted for $1)

          I think you would be pretty crazy not to keep Hunt for a $1 next year. Your other alternatives cant be that great. I have to imagine you paid a good amount for AJ, Evans, and Howard. The value for Hunt next season is way to good to let him go.

    I really think you should have Rod Smith in front of Alfred Morris. Just fresher legs and he clearly had the rookie jitters. In spite of that he out-snapped Morris 60% to 35% and received 6 targets to none for Morris. Get on that train before it leaves the station!

    Also, watch out for Brandon LaFells at Cinny!

      For me it’s Henry. His run volume is already unreliable. He doesn’t do a whole lot of receiving out of the backfield, and he arguably has the tougher schedule ahead compared to the rest.

      I have a hard time dropping Henry simply because I have held onto him this long and I would be pissed if I drop him and Murray finally gets hurt. I recently dropped Anderson in a league of mine. I want nothing to do with a RB that is only seeing the field for 33% of snaps

    RB’s – Howard, Kamara, Dion Lewis, Devonta Freeman
    WR’s – R.Woods, Sterling Shepard, Keenan, Hogan, Diggs

    I know Freeman is out.
    Right now I have Howard and Kamara as the starting RB’s. Woods and Shepard for WR’s and Dion as the flex.

    I think Kamara is a no brainer. I know Shepard and Dion are going against week respective defenses. And woods has been hot… I could go Diggs in the Flex?

    If I did that I would probably keep both traded for player and think about keeping a RB as my extra 50$

    The Seahawks were great against the run last week and bottling up Adrian Peterson, but I think that without Richard Sherman Tevin Coleman should find more success. Last week was pretty fluke for Demarco: he still only had 42 rushing yards.
