RosterWatch Week 11 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet and PODCAST Now Available

Byron BylineBuilding a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

PODCAST —- PRO MEMBERS CAN FIND THE WAIVER WIRE PODCAST HERE IN THE PRO PODCAST DOWNLOADS SECTION. It usually will be up by Tuesday afternoon. Listen to the PRO podcast as a supplement to the sheet as you’re setting waiver claims for additional insight.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

  1. Pick one TE:

    Reed
    Seals-Jones
    Heurremen
    Watson
    Vannett
    Everett
    Samuels

    1. Prob Reed

    2. Hermann all day

  2. Lost Kupp last week, I do have ARob, should I still go after Miller?

    1. Prob not. Maybe go after the next highest guys avail from that tier

      1. Thanks Byron!

  3. Was offered Melvin Gordon and Cortland Sutton for Mike Evans and Aaron Jones.
Would leave me a little thin at reciever – I would still have Tyreke hill but my number 2 would be Sutton.
My backs would now be gurley and Gordon.
    Good trade or no?

    1. i think it leaves you too suspect at wr and jones is coming on

  4. A bottom feeder in my league has Julio and Cooks. Would you try to trade for one of those guys, or just try and get Reynolds off the wire tomorrow? I just lost Kupp. If you prefer to trade, who would you package to go?

    My team currently:
RB – Hunt, Lindsay, Kerryon, Yeldon, Martin
WR – AB, Evans, ARob, Watkins, Fitz

Also gonna attempt to drop Yeldon and get D Henry in the morning.

  5. i think you’re deep enough, i’d just try the wire

    1. That’s what she said, and thanks Trashman!

Looking to get my defense for the playoffs weeks 14 15 and 16. Been kinda looking and I think the Tennessee Titans have the best matchups. What’s your thought and do you guys do a rankings for the playoff for defenses?

  7. As a Mixon owner, should I have Gio on my roster instead of guys like Reynolds and Penny? I remember Byron saying “Mixon owners don’t want to live another day on this earth without Gio :-)” but not sure if Penny is the better backup (though I don’t own Carson). Thank you!

    1. I’d rather have Gio.

  8. Also, its driving me crazy who is the guy in the photo above? I feel like I should know but I dont lol. Thanks RW!

  9. I have Njoku (bye) and need a TE for this week. First question Heurerman or Seals-Jones? Second question, would you drop Njoku or one of my wr’s (Godwin, MJones, Miller Time or Sutton)? I’m 5-5 so need this one. Waivers run tonight. Thanks guys

Have a core of Mahomes/Gurley/Thielen but considering moving one for depth.

    RBs: Collins, Richard
    WRs: MVS, TreQuan Smith,

Should I try and move one of my big 3?
