Byron BylineBuilding a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

PODCAST —- YOU CAN FIND THE WAIVER WIRE PODCAST HERE IN THE PODCAST SECTION AS SOON AS IT GETS POSTED. You can also find it on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, or anywhere podcasts are found. Listen to the podcast as a supplement to the sheet as you’re setting waiver claims for additional insight, however, the pod does not give the exact order and/or tiers of the sheet so do not consider it a substitute for using the sheet.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

    Given the upcoming schedule for David Johnson, should I dump him and clear up some bench space to stash someone like Slayton?

    Similar issue with Jaylen Samuels, since I saw a report Conner is likely a go for Thurs? Hoping I’ll get lucky and snag Brian Hill.

      Close call- don’t think I would drop DJ for Slayton just yet. Closer call on Samuels– might just depend on how you need to balance your roster

    Hey Guys – great podcast as usual..6-4 record. I have a couple of drop questions ros – keep Josh Gordon or AJ Green? Or drop them both for more upside like Hardman or Slayton? And who is more droppable at this point: Lat Murray or Drake to pick up Mattison or Hill?? Looking to get rid of dead weight heading into playoffs and keep upside. Thanks!!

      Close call- I might drop Green for Slayton- but think you can wait since Slayton is on BYE

      Hate dropping those RB handcuffs- can you trade them? Mattison prob the better drop by tiniest of hairs- but very difficult call. An injury to either starter is hard to predict.

    In PPR I have JSamuels (RB) as my 5th RB (McCaffrey, Fournette, DHenry, Gurley, JSamuels)
    I have Boyd as 1 of my 5 WR (Hill, ESanders, Sutton, Chark, Boyd)

    I can only play 2 RB 2 WR and 1 Flex

    Should I drop JSamuels and/ or Boyd for any of these?

    DKMetcalf, KHunt, Guice, Mixon, Lat Murray?

    In a 0.5ppr I have been riding Dalvin and Chubb all year at Rb. I probably need to win out (at least 2-1) and have to get past Cooks week 12 bye. My RB depth is Mattison, JSam, Lat Murray and Ballage. Not sure if I like any of those (start 2) options in a must win. Would you prioritize Guice or BHill in this situation? Thanks Guys.

    Standard league, 7-2 record and picked up G.Everett last week (have M.Andrews but was planning to trade him this week). The team with TEs Hooper and Graham has RB: Kamara, D.Henry & Drake; WR: A.Cooper, Kupp & OBJ.

    I’m trying to work a trade to consolidate and improve my starters for playoffs. I have Fournette, A.Jones, T.Coleman, D.Montgomery, Hopkins, D.Adams & Chark but want to trade for at least one RB1/WR1.

    My trade away candidates are QB Brees (I have Jackson), RB Hyde/L.Murray, & M.Andrews in addition to my players, above. I think this is the time to sell high on Hyde & Andrews and think Murray might interest her as a Kamara owner.

    Would an offer of Andrews, Hyde and either Coleman/Montgomery be too high for Kamara?

    If she won’t consider trading away Kamara, would my offer of Andrews, Hyde & L.Murray for her A.Cooper or Kupp (or even her D.Henry & OBJ) be fair? Or try Andrews for OBJ (or Andrews & Murray/Hyde for D.Henry)? This league seldom trades so might have to overpay to make it happen. Thanks in advance.

    I know I asked this last week, but after seeing the usage Hunt is going to get, do you feel more comfortable shipping Chubb for Fournette? I can’t decide. Chubb has a better schedule, but Fournette doesnt share the ball with anyone. 10 team .5 ppr.

    QB – Allen, Trubisky
    RB – Cook, Ingram, Mattison, Pollard, Guice
    WR – Sanders, Moore, Beasley, Metcalf

    Into

    QB – Goff, Mayfield
    RB – Cook, Elliot, Coleman, Mattison
    WR – Sanders, Robinson, Golloday, Samuel, Harry.

    Poking around trying to get one more major piece. As a result have been offered Barkley for Elliot straight up which does not make sense for me to do.

    My question is what would it take for you to move Elliot and is it worth trying to see if I can get the guy to throw in another piece. The only pieces he has that would help are Godwin, Barkley, or Jones. He has two RBs on bye and needs a win so that is his motive.

      Only other drops would be M Sanders, Penny, AP, and Ginn. Having to roster 2 QBs this week since Wilson is on bye. Gonna drop Penny for Mattison and Ginn for B Hill, Deebo or Slayton.

      Close call …. Boyd is still getting volume, but the quality of targets is the question ?
      DK is starting to get more volume himself compared to the start of the szn when he’d get 3 targets a game, and either score or not …
      I’d choose whom ever has the best rest of season sched.

      Come to think of it, I cant seem to find the rest of szn SOS tool…

      yeah, in the leagues I am doing the poorest in I was holding on to guys like AJG & Herndon for waaaay too long.
