RosterWatch Week 12 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet Now Available

Byron BylineBuilding a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

For added context, please watch below or listen to the RosterWatch Waiver Wire Podcast anywhere podcasts can be found:

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

I can drop LARams Def and maybe JJeudy for 2 of above?
Who and what order of importance

    Thank you

    1. Was going to suggest you do exactly that. I think at this point I would pick up Lamb and AB.

  3. Need input,

12 Team Full point ppr. I need to fill 2 RB spots and 2 WR/RB Flex spots from the following players

    Edmonds
    Drake
    Conner
    Ahmed

    Michael Pittman
    Tyler Boyd
    Ceedee
    Corey Davis

    Thanks Nation

    1. Please wait for rankings updates this afternoon though Sunday AM- initial thought is 4/5 of these guys: Drake, Conner, Ahmed, Lamb, Pittman

  4. I need 2 WR’s and a flex from the following.
A Rob, D Parker, Godwin, T Higgina, Fulgham, AB, Kirk, Z Moss, Connor..
    Thank you

    1. Godwin, Parker, AB (maybe ARob)

  5. Trade J Robinson for Rodgers? My QB is Ryan and My RB’S are Cook, Robinson, Swift, Gio, Mixon, Akers, Mattison. WR’s are Ridley, ARob, Diontae Johnson, Pitman and M Williams. Sitting at 8-3.

    1. No way man

  6. Trade J Robinson for Rodgers? My QB is Ryan and My RB’S are Cook, Robinson, Swift, Gio, Mixon, Akers, Mattison. WR’s are Ridley, ARob, Diontae Johnson, Pitman and M Williams.

I’m seriously considering playing Daniel Jones over Lamar Jackson. Am I crazy for thinking that? I know the rankings have Lamar well above Jones

    1. Not crazy

  8. Who is worth keeping for the rest of the season. Standard scoring league. L Murray, S Michel or C Samuel. Just for a bench player and just need one.

    1. Probably Samuel, unless you own AK. Murray is a solid lottery ticket type guy if you are stacked at WR / Flex ,though. Wouldn’t give too much though to Sony

  9. Currently own Big Ben so do I old onto him and start vs. BAL?
Or drop him for one of the following?

    Carr vs. ATL
    Hill @DEN
    Bridgewater @MIN
    Stafford vs. HOU
    Wentz vs. SEA
    Cousins vs. CAR
    Dalton vs WAS
    Rivers vs. TEN

    1. I think so, if you are kind of looking rest of the way- I would look at the SOS for Big Ben and Teddy. In a vacuum, I like those two the most down the stretch, out of that group, if their schedules are halfway decent

  10. In a bit of a dilemma here in my most expensive league. 10 tm PPR, 4 teams make playoffs. Last week of reg season (2 two week playoffs). Started 7-1 and have lost 3 in a row and there’s a scenario this week where if I lose and by more than 33.39 I will miss the playoffs. I have Big Ben and my opponent has both claypool and diontae. I picked up Carr last night and was planning on playing him according to rankings/matchup. However, should i hedge against 2 of his 4 receivers (can start 2 flex) and go with Big Ben? Kind of thinking so. Thanks RW Nation!

    1. I would go w/ Big Ben-

      1. Thanks Byron. I just scooped Teddy and dropped Carr once I got the news about Teddy starting. Would you still play Big Ben over Teddy with the above circumstance?

  11. Hayden Hurst or Dallas Goedert rest of season PPR? I need to drop one. Thanks!

    1. Prob Hurst — double check the strength of schedules to make sure it’s at least in the same ballpark

  12. Thinking about next year 🙁 What round in a 10 team 1/2 PPR league would Gibson be drafted? Thanks

    1. Prob RD4

  13. Just curious why we’re so high on Schultz this week and so low on Hooper? Feel like they’re both in solid spots. Concerned that CLE will go heavy on running the ball? Schultz disappointed last matchup vs Washington.

    1. Not running enough routes- Schultz had a TD on a 91% snap count last wk. He’s got a solid role in the offense

Lineup question… PPR league Need to start 2 wrs. Which of them would you start this week??? Dionte Johnson, Tyler Boyd, CeeDee Lamb, Jakobi Meyers and Curtis Samuel. Reager is on the waivers too.

  15. Prob Diontae and Lamb-

  16. Must win… I need a flex can you rank the top 2 from the following
    Gordon..Pittman, Juedy, Fulgham , J Taylor , T Higgins, Z Moss
    Thank you.
