RosterWatch Week 13 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet and Podcast Now Available

Building a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

  1. I have Wentz as my QB
Russel Wilson and TaysomHill are available on Waiver
Should I switch out QB and try to get Wislon?

    1. I would look at the upcoming matchups. Hill is quite interesting this wk. Wentz has been better than Wilson recently so if their matchups are close I’d prob lean Wentz.

  2. Win 1 of the next 2 and I am in the paly-offs
    PPR Play 2RB 3WR 1TE 1Flex
RB: AKamara, JRobinson, EMitchell Clyde Ed-Helaire, Mark Ingram, AJDillon
WR: KAllen, JaMarChase, DHopkins, AntonioBrown, MGallup

Avialable on waiver (I have low waiver position):
RB: AMattison, JavonteWilliams(DEN), Chase Edmunds, Chuba Hubbard , RhomStevenson, JamaalWilliams(DTW), AmeerAbdullah
    WR: SterlingShepard, CSamuel RhondaleMoore
TE (can play as Flex): Knox Engram

Try for Mattison, Jav Williams and Hubbard Dropping who? Ingram?
Pick up shepard and drop Gallup?

    1. I’d drop Clyde or Ingram for Mattison. Unless Gordon is out I think Javonte is less valuable than Clyde- and similar to Ingram

  3. Defense Dallas or TB
    This weeek
    and into play-oofs?

    1. Oh man that is tough- I would see which one has been scoring better recently in your format. I think I lean TB by a hair if both Ingram and Kamara are playing

  4. Any worry about Cam Newton taking goal line opportunities away from Chuba Hubbard and decreasing Chuba’s value?
What about Ameer Abdullah, the pass catching back?

    1. Yes somewhat- but not enough to favor AA

  5. Need Input,

Gonna have to win out these last 2 weeks and have a major miracle happen ahead of me to make playoffs.

I have jalen hurts, but picked up taysom hill for the Thurs game. Carr, tyrod, and Jimmy G are also on waivers. Who would you roll with this week?

    Thanks

  6. i have J Robinson, Pollard, Mattison, and m Sanders. Chubba is sitting out on waivers. we have dumb 4 RB limit. should i drop any of these guys to pick Chubba up? obv hes on a bye this week.

    1. maybe miles but i doubt it

  7. Full PPR
    CEH, Gallup, Jeudy, OBJ

    Thank you in advance

    1. CEH or Gallup

      1. Post By Byron Lambert

        Probably Clyde

    2. Post By Byron Lambert

      Prob CEH or OBJ

  8. In a tough spot, tied for 2nd. Win and I lock in a first rd bye (rd 1 starts next week for us). Trade deadline is the 3rd, I very luckily scooped Mattison early last week after the Cook owner dropped him after holding him all season… is Mattison & Pitts a good trade for Kelce? I have a tough matchup this week where Mattison would help, but it sounds like Dalvin may not be out long. Having Kelce for a playoff run sounds enticing. Thanks RW!

I’d do everything you can to get a win this week and lock down a bye. If that means Pitts is your TE in the playoffs so be it. If you think you have another option similar to Mattison this wk- then you can go for it. It sounds like a pretty fair deal.

      1. Thanks Byron. Unfortunately I don’t as Chubb is on bye and I am starting Pollard along with Mattison. My bench includes Michael Carter, Collins, Singletary, Freeman and Ameer.

  9. Post By John Hunsberger

.5 ppr I need to start either Jerry Jeudy or Gallup ? Rankings say Gallup is that the safe option ? (That’s all I need this week)

    1. The Vegas Tool slightly prefers JJ, and we also have him ranked a little higher. If you feel safer with Gallup, go ahead and roll him because we’re only apart .7 points on the projection, but in a vaccuum I think I go Jeudy,.

  10. Good morning. PPR. Ingram or Logan Thomas in the flex?

    Thanks

  11. PPR Play 2RB 3WR 1TE 1Flex Me:
RB: AKamara, JRobinson, EMitchell Javonte Williams Clyde Ed-Helaire, Mark Ingram, AJDillon
    WR: KAllen, JaMarChase, DHopkins, AntonioBrown

Looks like AKmara will not play tonight
I plan on playing MIngram instead

    JRobinson may not play Sunday
If not I could play Javonte Williams or Clyde Ed-Helaire

On waiver are : Any of these better than the above (Javonte Williams or Clyde Ed-Helaire)
SonMichel, Breida, B Scott, DSingletary DaveJohnson Tev Coleman RhStephenson BBolden
If so: Drop who? Javonte Williams or Clyde Ed-Helaire or AJ Dillon

    1. I think J Rob will play but Gordon is questionable which would make Javonte a smash if he can’t go. If Gordon does go, I think I like CEH best (Assuming no JROB) – confusing.

      1. Got it!
        Thank you

  12. PPR Play 2RB 3WR 1TE 1Flex Me:
RB: AKamara, JRobinson, EMitchell Javonte Williams Clyde Ed-Helaire, Mark Ingram, AJDillon
    WR: KAllen, JaMarChase, DHopkins, AntonioBrown

Light on WR since i play 3:
avauilable are C Davis SterlingShepard Gallup
Pick up any of these for depth and drop which RB?

    Thanks

    1. would stand pat but A Brown is becoming a damn headache.

  13. PPR Flex Pick 1, with playoff implications

    Pollard, Gallup, Bateman, Van Jefferson.

    What do you think?

    1. I’m choosing between Pollard and Van in one of my important leagues and I’m playing Pollard. It’s a tough call man. Good luck.

  14. Would you rather start Gallup in PPR tonight, or Brandin Cooks on Sunday?

    1. Cooks for me I think.

  15. I have Melvin Gordon questionable for Sunday night, should I play Gallup tonight instead of Gordan? Standard league.

    1. I think that’s fine if you want to.

  16. Do I start Schultz or Freiermuth. 2 pt Ppr and this is for a playoff spot. My opponent is starting Mark Andrew’s. Please advise.
    Thanks

    1. I’d start Freiermuth the GOAT unless we get word that he’s not progressing as expected thru the protocol.

      1. Dallas plays tonight so should I just hold out?

        1. PF was a full participant in practice today meaning he is progressing thru the protocol. This is more than just a rankings decision, it’s for a playoff spot and I’m not a doctor or a mind reader. I think PF plays and I think he is the better play if he does, but it’s your playoff spot at risk and you need to weigh your acceptable level of risk appropriately. So, I would hold out, but it doesn’t mean I’d say it was bad for you to play Schultz. They project within like .5 points of one another. I think you need to decide on your own, but hope this input is helpful in allowing you to make the best decision for yourself.

  17. PPR
    Ingram tonight or Javante Williams?

  18. I appreciate the honesty. Going with Schultz to be safe. Cheeks clenched!!!
