RosterWatch Week 13 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet Now Available

Byron BylineBuilding a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

PODCAST —- THERE WILL BE NO WAIVER POD THIS WEEK AS WE ARE TRAVELING FOR THANKSGIVING, IT WILL BE REPLACED WITH A THANKSGIVING DFS POD ON WEDNESDAY AT SOME POINT. You can also find it on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, or anywhere podcasts are found. Listen to the podcast as a supplement to the sheet as you’re setting waiver claims for additional insight, however, the pod does not give the exact order and/or tiers of the sheet so do not consider it a substitute for using the sheet.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

  1. Fellas, rolling into the playoffs 1st overall in points and rank all thanks to you guys! 8-4, Funding Secured, 0.5ppr 10-team

I’m playing #2 this week and I really need to beat him to hold 1st place and, more importantly, because he beat me earlier in the season (barely). I must have my revenge! But my entire starting lineup has some RrrrrUFF matchups.

Do I sit Watson, Hopkins and Cooper for Cousins, Chark and Robinson? Or sit Fournette for Jon or Jamaal Williams? Should I pickup a TE off waivers to start in place of Andrews? Or just ride my studs and hope for the best?

    QB – Watson, Cousins
WR – Hopkins, Cooper, Chark, Robinson, Gordon
RB – Cook, Fournette, Jamaal Williams, Jon Williams, Mack (out)
    TE – Andrews

    1. Yeah- I’d play the best matchups this week— all those guys are good options

  2. Want to maintain 1st to get bye. 12tm 1pt ppr. Need 1rb n flex.

    Currently have:
    QB: Jackson
    WR: Adams, Godwin,
    RB: Henry
    TE: Waller

    RB 2: Guice
    Flex: Ridley

    Bench:
    RB: Samuels, Scarburough,
    WR: Samuel, Crowder

I could try to pick up Snell or Jonathan Williams to use as RB2 and or flex. I’d not be sure who to cut if I did. What would be the best move?

    1. crap forgot, Peanut Twister, 8-4

    2. To me it’s prob b/t Scarbrough or Jonathan Williams over Guice. Closer call vs Ridley. I’d play the matchups. Starting Ridley is a solid move in PPR if you are in doubt

  3. Deflated Balls, 5-7, 12 tm 1pt ppr (3rd in points!!!)

I need to win to get in (plus help from 5th or 6th place losing). I am going against #3 team who has lamar jackson, ingram, eckler, julio, michael thomas, kittle, cupp starting. So I likely need points and upside.

    My current starters:
    QB: Kyler Murray
    RB: Dal Cook, Gordon
    WR: Arob, Godwin
    TE: Henry
    Flex: Crowder

    Bench:
    RB: Guice, Singletary
    WR: Samuel

    Avbl RB, WR to pickup:
Hines, Edmonds, Breida, Darrell Williams, Snell, Robby Anderson

    1. Good lineup— think you’ll have to consider Crowder vs Singletary vs Anderson vs Guice in that flex. I’d play the best matchup and lean fairly heavily towards Singletary if remotely close

Hey guys, i’m currently 9-3 and locked for the playoffs thanks to Roster Watch. I’m planning ahead for weeks 15-16. Am I crazy to drop Darius Guice and pickup Fitzmagic?? Fitz has match-ups with the Giants and Bengals in weeks 15 & 16. Even if Guice takes a lead roll, I probably won’t start him since I have McCaffrey and Fournette. Is dropping him now a solid move to plan ahead if I need to stream Fitz in the playoffs?

I currently have Prescott and Allen as my QB’s and I rotate them based on match ups…. but both of them have tough matchups in weeks 15-16, so Fitz might be my golden ticket. Thoughts?

    1. This sounds like an extraordinarily cockamamie plot. I would stay put and keep Guice. Keep an eye on waivers for an opportunistic QB pickup down the stretch. You are not in an emergency situation. Guice is potentially too valuable to drop even if you don’t think you are going to play him, esp for a scrub backup QB

Nice work this season! Take it home!

  5. Beasts 9-3 2nd place seed in Play-offs set Thank you!
Looking to improve my RB depth
Play 3 RB and 2 Flex (RB/WR/TE) in PPR

I have McCaffrey, DCook, TColeman, KDrake, DamienWilliams, CHyde, DGuice and AMattison(HC)

Any of these available Waivers better for play-offs, or to keep away from opponents): MBreida. LatMurray, JonWilliams, Mostert, CThompson BScarbrough , RPenny

    Drop who? Hyde….Guice..?

    1. I think you are fine to stay put. I might look into Bo, or maybe JWilliams if you think Mack will be out longer than expected.

  6. In PPR who would I rather have on my bench, just in case?
Curtis Samuel, SShepard DWestbrook, or DSlayton?

    1. Not Westbrook. Probably one of the Giants– but I would look at the best remaining schedules

  7. League 2: 1st place Thanks to you!
I have THill, CSutton and ESanders as my WRs
Would any of these sitting on Waivers be better for me than Sutton (or Sanders) in PPR for the play-offs?
    Boyd, McLaurin, TyWilliams, WFuller?

    1. Yeah Fuller is a nice option– maybe Boyd w/ Dalton back. Close call on McLaurin vs Sutton or Sanders. Again, I would look at snap %, targets, TD Dev %, and most importantly the upcoming matchups

  8. I just snagged Kyler Murray after a bye week drop. I’ve been rolling with Matt Ryan in a 1QB league.

Is dumping Ryan advisable for a RB stash for the playoff stretch? I’ve basically got a bye this week.

Also considering dropping Brandon Cooks; We start 3 WRs… right now I’m rostering Michael Thomas, OBJ, Sutton, Sanders and Cooks

    1. What a set of WR! Ryan can be dropped if you are making a good pick up. Closer call on Cooks–depends on who you are dropping him for. I might drop him for the top 1-2 guys on the sheet this week. Prob a close call. Look at upcoming matchups

  9. West Coast Bias 7-5. Need to get the win to secure my playoff spot. Had a bad beat last week with Sutton and Lockett not having great weeks. But the killer was I had Rogers against Lamar Jackson

Can I roll with Kyler Murray the rest of the season or should I be looking for another QB. I just can’t trust Rogers anymore. Also is Goedert ok for the rest of the season. Thanks, long time subscriber and you guys helped me turn around an 0-3 start!!!! One more win and I’m in the hunt for the $$$$.

    1. Yes- Goedert is a reasonable play ROS— solid WW TE play this week too— obv look at upcoming schedule

I wouldn’t plan on riding any QB the rest of the way unless it was a Top 3 guy on the season. There are a ton of viable QBs— play the matchups. Look ahead– if you need to stash a few QBs go for it

    2. Thank you IceMonkey

  10. Which 2 players would be a better Flex plays going forward in PPR
    Pick 2:
    Doyle. CSamuels. CKirk

    1. Kirk + prob Samuel — would look at upcoming matchups b/t CS and JD

  11. Tyler Boyd is available in my 0.5 ppr league. With Dalton being announced as the starter, is Boyd a higher priority add then the more readily available players indicated in the cheat sheet?

    1. Probably, would be at or near very top of sheet w/ Dalton back

  12. Drop Ryan Griffin for Doyle? Either would be my backup to Kelce.

    1. Close call- maybe so but don’t it’s a must based on the matchups. If you have a hunch it’s definitely a fine move- he is a slightly higher priority this wk but not a guy you have to go out of way for if you have Griffin

  13. Post By cbroenneke@gmail.com

Saquon Deez Nuts, 8-4 2nd place. Gotta win this week to hold playoff spot. 10 team 1pt PPR 6pt passing TD.

    Lineup
    Qb Rogers/ Murray
    RB Zeke/ Barkley
    WR Godwin/Tyreek/D.J Moore/J. Brown
    TE Henry

Question is Rogers or Murray? And which one of the four WR would you sit?

    Thanks!

    1. Wait for rankings! That will be close. Probably Murray as of now!

      I’d probably sit Brown

  14. Post By gerrycouey@hotmail.com

Stick with Pitt D or pick up Eagles D vs Mia, NY and Wash? Is David Johnson droppable?

    1. Prob stick with Pitt. — yes DJ is droppable if need be — not a must drop but can be if necessary

  15. I have 3 teams, 1 fighting for a bye and the other 2, if i win I’m in the playoffs
1st team F bomb Dem Boyz
Watson and Foles.. Would you consider benching Watson for Foles.
    My for sure starters are
    Elliot
    Chubb
    Edleman
    Andrews
I need a WR and Flex from the following

    Fuller
    2nd team Use 2 B Dem Boyz
    My for sure starters

Would any of my bench players be a better option?
    D Williams
    Michel
    Fitz
    Sutton
    Hyde
    Slayton
You guys are awesome thank you..

  16. Lord Have Mercy! Let’s wait for rankings for these kind of sit/ starts!

    1. Okay, gotcha..

      1. Team 1-

Yes- I would strongly consider playing Foles over Watson— those matchups are polar opposites– and Foles’ matchup is a funnel straight to the QB + I also think you have to start Chark + I’d prob flex Thielen or maybe ESanders

Team 2- Probably Beckham + Diggs + Probably Ertz or Sutton in flex in PPR—maybe Coleman in 5.ppr or STD. Maybe you can check the Vegas props on that one

Team 3- I think you stick with Parker — unless D Williams, is Damien Williams — then it’s down to those two

Thanks for your support Mike, you have some outstanding teams. We are thrilled to hear of your success. Finish the job for the RW Nation!!!!

        1. Thank you, I appreciate you taking the time to answer my lawd have mercy… 🙂

        2. My teams are a result of RW.. You guys are awesome..

  17. Hey so Aj green is on the waiver in both my leagues .just wondering if it’s worth taking the risk and dropping someone for him? In hope of some playoff upside. I have marvin jones and golden Tate in both leagues and never would one of them be a candidate?

    1. I’d keep Tate—- might consider Marvin. Look at the matchups. I wouldn’t drop a player I might need for AJG. Obv Jones takes a big hit w/out Stafford.

  18. Team name is Kittle Litter, 12-0. Absolute maniacal smash of a year, the robot genius would be happy in his pants over how it’s gone for me this season. Now I’m getting my roster set for the playoffs. Locked into a bye already so first playoff matchup will be week 16. Going to go ahead and pick up my defense for week 16, best options seem to be Texans @ TB, Jets vs Pit, Chiefs at Bears, or Cincy @ Miami. Thanks in advance!

  19. Amazing year Dan! Thanks for sharing, and thank you for your loyal support. Now, finish the job for RWNation!!!

At a glance- NYJ look like a solid option at home

Team name is Fat Cocks 6-6
I am struggling this year lol, I need your help to make sure i secure a win this week and make playoffs. I have some key choices i need help deciding on.

    WR: THill, Edelmen
    TE: Waller
    FLex: DJ Moore

I need your opinion on who to start at QB and TE, and any other improvements that can be made. There are lots of QB’s on the wavier wire. Such Tannehill, Darnold, Mayfield, J Allen. I don’t know who to pick up/ start to make sure I win. Also is it time to start Cook over Waller. He had a hot start while cook didn’t and cook and has many games over 10 points while Waller hasn’t. So please help me lol.
