RosterWatch Week 14 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet and Podcast Now Available

Building a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

        Can only drop NE Defense but don’t want to. Great question though. I have 4 solid RBs: JT Najee, Monty, Javonte. Rhamondre too.

        So not sure I need either, but do I want my opponents to get them?

        Also, it’s a must win to get in.

    This is it! 4 losses in a row has me screwed with a loss this week! So many good teams for D on the waiver wire. I have read the rankings and looked at the cheat sheet what D could save my week?     T LAwrence has this playoff schedule of Week 15 Houston Week 16 NYJ week 17 (championship); NE – I would stream another QB week 16
    Do I go with TLawrence (I would pick him up this week and play him, Wentz on Bye)
    Or think of another Qb (Wentz playoff schedule is bad: weeks15-17: NE, AZ, LV)

    It’s nut cutting time!!!! It’s playoff time fellas. I have the number one waiver priority. I currently have Jeff Wilson should I blow the priority on hasty or Julio Jones who is shockingly on the waivers too. Are either worth the number one spot? Outside of those two I’d rank the next best available are Penny and Boston Scott. Thanks guys this is a competitive 16 team league with college buddies and I wouldn’t of got here without the mystical magical cheat sheet. Let’s bring home the chip!

      Hasty could be worth it if you actually need to play him this week. If you’re looking into playoffs Julio is the better pick. Neither one is likely to win your league but hasty could get you into the playoffs if you’re on the cusp.

    Parker is the only wr I would bother with, and then maybe seals-Jones at TE but you might not be able to use him this week. I think Jimmy g and tua are better qb options for the playoffs than Lawrence.

    I have a Dilemma I face..
    I’m currently at 4th In my league tied with 3 other teams at 7 and 6, I need a win this week to make the playoffs full PPR, 6 pt TD’s for QB’s and 1pt completions and I’ve been rolling with Lamar Jackson. In this format he has been extremely inconsistent. I also have Cousins and I was thinking of playing him this week. Thoughts.
    – Also, faced with trying to decide to play Pollard or Zeke..

      If it was my team in a do or die situation I’m sticking w/ Lamar Jackson everyday of the week, every time of the day, 100% of the time.

      I think you just have to monitor the news on Zeke vs Pollard and go with your gut instinct once you have as much info as possible.

Have a quick QB question: would you roll out Heinicke or Tannehill this week with Hurts on bye? Leaning Heinicke but Dallas’ Defense could show up but he is more mobile. Thoughts? Thank you

    Looking for some d/st advice. I’ve locked up 1st overal with a week 15 bye so the only weeks that matter are 16 and hopefully 17. Currently have ariz (wk 16 vs SF & wk 17 at LAR). Looking at GB (wk 16 vs Clev & wk 17 vs Minn), SF (wk 16 at Ten &wk 17 vs Hous) and LAC (wk 16 at Hou & wk 17 at den). How do you rank these. I’m thinking of dropping ariz and and my last bench player and picking up 2 of these…thoughts? Thanks guys.

      Go with LAC and SF. Anyone that plays against Houston is a win especially since they may go with Mills ROS.

    I have Cook and Mattison in this full ppr. Cook seems like a GTD…if he’s announced as active are you playing him over Mattison?

      In this exact same situation, really hoping Cook is inactive. He will be a very risky play if active IMO. Almost willing to play Mattison in either situation, but it’s tough. I’ve got Pollard and Tevin Coleman in my two flex positions, but both also seem to be GTD’s so most likely need to start Cook or Mattison.

        I don’t hate that idea. Mine’s in a std league, so could get enough production out of the two combined to make it worth it. A TD or two should pay off as well.

          I would definitely play Cook if I had both. They are saying he’s been planning to play all week and has gotten the first team work in practice. I’m worried about playing Mattison in a league where I don’t have Cook and may play Devonta Freeman over him.
