RosterWatch Week 15 Waiver Wire: WRs
Byron Lambert, Rosterwatch.com

If you need any more explanation as to why you should have already picked up Cordarrelle Patterson, Ace Sanders, Justin Hunter, DeAndre Hopkins, Rod Streater, or Jerricho Cotchery– just go back an read any waiver report we’ve written in the last six weeks.

Of the group, we are lowest on Hunter and Cotchery this week. The others get the full green light in starting lineups. If you need some other options, check out the players listed below. All of whom, are less than 50% owned across standard fantasy leagues.

lafell

Brandon LaFell, WR Carolina Panthers- 32% owned
Arguably the Panthers top receiver, we would not blink an eye inserting LaFell into our lineups this week at home against the Jets. It’s the best matchup possible. It’s the same Jets defense the robot genius RosterWatch Computer predicted a Rod Streater road monster against last week. All systems are go for LaFell in Week 15.

Andre Holmes, WR Oakland Raiders- 5% owned
Speaking of Rod Streater, we’ve been telling you for weeks now that we really like his teammate Andre Holmes. The matchup at home against the Chiefs is a favorable one for fantasy receivers. Expect 4-12 points from Holmes in Week 15.

Marquise Goodwin, WR Buffalo Bills- 3% owned
The coaching staff says they are committed to getting him more involved in the last three games of the season. He’s feast or famine, but all it takes is one play for Goodwin to rack up double-digit fantasy points. We like his chances in a warm weather game at Jacksonville, who’s been trending towards one of the best matchups for fantasy receivers.

Indianapolis Colts Wide Receivers- 7% owned
LaVon Brazil was a Trashman Garbage Grab Special, last week. Da’Rick Rogers, is an uber-talented rookie who went undrafted because of character concerns. He was immediately signed by the Buffalo Bills, and actually started training camp with some splash plays. Unfortunately, Rogers was working behind two other rookie Buffalo receivers who were higher draft picks (Goodwin, Woods), and sophomore in TJ Graham who was a high pick in 2012. Having been bounced to a small school after his transgressions at Tennessee, we believe was probably the biggest reason for Rogers slow developmental curve in Buffalo. By all accounts of his former coaches, he has a very high football IQ. He’s also a height-weight-speed specimen. For both reasons, we like him in Indy with Andrew Luck. For this week, we would probably trust Brazil more in our lineups against a tough Texans pass defense. Longterm, in any type of keeper or dynasty format, Rogers is a must own. He has a huge ceiling combined with Andrew Luck.

Baltimore Ravens Wide Receivers- 21% owned
Jacoby Jones failed us last week, with only 37 yards on 4 receptions. Although, he did have a huge kick return for a touchdown. Marlon Brown was the one popping off for double-digit points. He’s done that 38% of the games he’s played this year. Never bad thinking you’re a forty-percenter for double digits. They both get a great matchup on the road in the dome at Detroit in Week 15. Jones played 92% of snaps in Week 14, while Brown played 76% of snaps. If we were desperate, we wouldn’t be too hurt rolling out either of these guys in the semi-finals.

Doug Baldwin, WR Seattle Seahawks- 24% owned

It was a quiet Week 14 for Baldwin. Still, like we told you last week- he’s been pretty good lately, and has been fairly reliable on the season. He’s probably not going to goose-egg you and he has double-digit upside. On the road at the Giants isn’t the easiest this week, for fantasy receivers. But, we never mind buying stock in a Russell Wilson rebound game. You are going to get 4-12 points out of Baldwin.

Marvin Jones, WR Cincinnati Bengals- 35% owned
As you know, the master purveyor of wide receiver love at RosterWatch- is the robot genius RosterWatch Computer. He tells us on the Sirius XM Show every week with astonishing accuracy which pass catchers he loves the most. Last week he told us he LOVED Marvin Jones 30 spots higher than the industry-wide expert consensus. We couldn’t figure how he conjured that up since Marvin Jones had been low single-digit pitiful for over a month. So, of course we moved him down in rankings only to be cracked in the shins by the Computer when Jones hit a monster touchdown right off that bat in Week 14. We’ll be curious to see how much the robot genius loves him this week at Pittsburgh, but something tells us this could be another sneaky game for Jones against a rapidly declining Steelers pass defense that will have all hands on board trying to stop AJ Green.
