*****As a reminder, we always recommend using the Cheat Sheet in conjunction with the Vegas Tool once it is published Saturday evenings as Vegas almost always identifies a few value plays who aren’t necessarily on the sheet, but may provide excellent flexibility cap-wise. Sometimes we will update the sheet through the weekend as information comes in from injury reports, Vegas or elsewhere*****

HOW DOES THE SHEET WORK?

THE GOAL of the sheet is to reduce the number of players for the weekly slate to players expected to generate Positive Surplus Value (fantasy points over salary expected points). The player pool is narrowed down to players who meet a minimum number of trends.

THE TRENDS are a series of pass/fail threshold tests of position-specific stats predictors. Through the use of predictive models, we have analyzed every predictive metric we could for each position related to Vegas Indicators, Unit Matchups, Individual Matchups, Historical Performance, Game Script, Weather, and so much more.

      Probably Odell- maybe Gallup, small consideration to Boyd but I think he’s tough to start w/ the game total plummeting in that matchup

    Closely projected playoff matchup in a PPR league. I grabbed Justin Jackson mainly to block my opponent who has Ekeler but I am wondering if I should start him or not with one in the flex I can start 3 of Kamara, Montgomery, M. Sanders, or Jackson.

    What’s your thinking of playing defensive — I have Chase and AB and was leaning toward starting AB — now my opponent is starting Burrows today. Should I play defensive and start Chase? 1/2 pt ppr.

    Also want to circle back to RBs — just realized I have Damien Harris on bench. So rethinking — Jackson, d Harris or Gibson (my QB is Herbert). Leaning to Jackson as the Bills will take revenge today. confirmation.

      I think you have to play brown with the situation the Bucs are in. You must have a pretty good wr corps if you can’t start both though. I think Jackson is probably your safest play at rb

    Metcalf just seems like a dud, but would regret it if he has that huge game we’ve been waiting on (feels unlikely)

    Amon Ra was my lean before Goff was ruled out

    Gallup — Cowboys I don’t trust a ton, despite a good offense. Game script might not be kind.
