Building a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.
All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.
*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

What WR would you target and what RB would you give up?
Trade for JuJu or Diggs and give up DJ or Fournette?
Have mixon, Eckler, and swift as well at RB and ARob, Chark, Fuller, and Lamb at WR. Thanks

Should I drop Antonio Gibson to pick up Mike Davis
Need TE help/advice! Drafted Chris Herndon and need to move on from him as he feels like OJ Howard from last year where it just will never work out. Our waivers are thin with only Sample, Schultz, Cox, etc. available. Would you trade James Robinson for Jonnu Smith OR Evan Engram? Any other mid tier TE’s I should target (Gesicki, etc.)? Thanks!

Can you trade Edmonds to the Drake owner or Brown to the Akers owner for a good TE, or Dobbins to the Ingram owner? In principle the trade is fair– I just worry it leaves you a tiny bit thin at RB– but it’s ok to do it if you want to and plan to continue to work the waiver wire to replace James Robinson.
It’s also always best to trade two players for one better player so you can clear a roster spot for adds- when you can
Should I drop Ruggs for Robby Anderson, Shenault, or N’Keal Harry? If so who should I bid on first? Or do we need to be patient with Ruggs? Standard scoring

Nobody saw Robby Anderson coming this season. Many thought Andersons skillset did not line up with Teddy. So far we are wrong. He is the player you want out of this group. Love Ruggs, but hard to trust him in redraft right now. Shenault is interesting too, bc he is getting rushes.

A week ago this is a smash accept. But Edelman just had a career-best game WITH CAM. If it excites you to have the stack, I think you stay with it.
With Jonnu Smith being available in my league still, would you go after him or Joshua Kelley? Luckily I’m in a good spot to drop Tevin Coleman to make room
You are smart to identify Kelly and Jonnu as must adds. Coleman is a drop, is there anyone else you can drop to make room for both?
if I had to pick, I think you default to the RB unless TE is a need.
Only other options are John Brown and Henry Ruggs. But I am trying to see if someone will bite on a trade for Brown for Josh Jacobs or Jonathan Taylor. Trying to see if he will bite while Brown has been putting up some points. Rest of my roster for my 2QB/0.5PPR league is: Kyler, Stafford, D. Henry, Mixon, Zack Moss, John Brown, Marquise Brown, Chark, W Fuller, DJ Moore and Henry Ruggs. So I’m not entirely “in need” of people – just trying to play keep away

What to do with Ronald Jones? I think his day has come & gone. Should I drop him & go for someone on waiver wire cheat sheet (Freeman)? My RBs Henry, Jacobs, Hunt, Lev Bell, & Jones. I tried to package Jones with DJ Moore for Allen Robinson to guy that is hurting at RB & even he didnt want him.

I’d hold Rjones. It looks like Bucs will give Fournette more work each week, but RJs still will have a roll, and he is one injury away from workhorse status. I know he is not what you drafted but I dont think Dev Freeman projects to come in and be anything more than depth.
I might like Freeman better rest of season, but to Alan’s point – not enough to drop Jones and then pay up through the wazoo on waivers.
Who should I pick up and who are they worth dropping for? I’m just filling flex spots with these guys in 10 teamer PPR.

I wouldn’t drop Hurst- but I wold drop Kirk- for Davis, Gaskin, MVS, or Freeman. I’d also probably drop Goedert for Jonnu. Use the waiver sheet to see who has the highest priority this week.

I could use a spot check on my dynasty team that I started rebuilding in year two this past offseason. My team is averaging 100 points a game so far but I’m now 0-2 after I benched Tanny for Rivers and got buzz sawed by Josh Allen. I wasn’t expecting to compete this year after trading away Julio, Woods, and DJ to get younger but I think my team might surprise? Not sure how to react to this trade offer I got this morning however!?

Don;t think it’s imperative considering the strength of your WR and I think Brown is an important own for Akers owners. That said I would rather own Deebo than DJax, and probably even Davis or Freeman if the news is correct that Garoppolo may come back soon….

I’ve got Mixon, Ekeler, and Fournette to spare (plus others that likely won’t ever make the starting lineup). OBJ is bench fodder for me at the moment (Ridley, DJ Moore, Arob, although OBJ could find a spot in there).
He does have Carson and Gurley, but has weak flex options (Hines, Chark, Breida, Mike Williams, LatMurray) and a WR corps that could use some bolstering.

I used the Cheat Sheet all the way through. ended up basically taking no TE no QB. Drafted baker, swapped for tyrod week 1 and lucked into Tannehill.

Yeah, I would not do that trade. There is no planet on which I am trading Mahomes for James Robinson as the principals in the deal. In a yr where skill positions will be thin for all, I think it’s smarter than ever to anchor up to Mahomes and ride the season out.

Hold onto Dobbins at all costs. He is one injury away from league winning status. He will be viable without an injury to Ingram as well.
Moss vs Kelley is an interesting debate. I can see it, but I personally prefer Moss. No argument if someone else prefers Kelley.
Are Ruggs, Kirk, Reagor, D-jax all droppable for anyone above the 5% level in the WWCS? (i.e. Drew Sample, Golden Tate, MVS)

Two questions I need advice with:
1. Would you drop Austin Hooper and pick up Drew Sample? Seems like he might get a ton of targets from Burrow.

I would not worry too much about losing out on Freeman. He didn’t look amazing last time we saw him, and the NYG are ina committee of three. He could be a nice add, but you will be ok.
I agree Fournette is a player to trade for but not overpay for. Tampa is likely going to ramp his touches up each week.

Do not trade FOR CMC. Always take injury pessimism. 4-6 weeks, means 6 weeks. Plus a ramp up week. Plus he is likely not to go back to 20+ touches for this season. NO!

is it worth it to hold on to Emanual Sanders? or should i drop him to pick up KJ hamler or Damien Harris before he is back on everyones radar coming back from injury or any one of many prospective good players available? do we think Sanders could start playing better with Drew after the first couple weeks? could he do better when mike comes back and hes playing as the WR2/3 again? thoughts?
I’m not dying to drop him but If u like Hamler much better and feel like Driskel/Lock can support him and all the others then u can go for it – lots of upside there.

My buddy offered me Michael Thomas for Calvin Ridley. Thanks to the magicial cheat sheet my team is pretty stacked at WR. Davante Adams, DJ Moore, Ridley, Marvin Jones, Landry, Ruggs. RBs Ekeler, Melvin Gordon, Leveon, James White, Sony. Start 2 RB, 3 WR and a Flex. I am 2-0. Should I accept or should I counter with DJ Moore?
Man I think you could pull that trade off. Maybe see if he’ll go Moore, but it’s nice to add MT to that team and roll out Davante, Thomas here in a few weeks.
Fellas, Freeman or Mike Davis?
Because of league set up have room for only one… leaning Mike.
I lost both Barkley and McCaffrey (yup f me).
Since you own CMC I can understand Davis, but if I didn’t own him and wanted to take a shot on a guy I could at least hope to depend on as a reliable flex ROS, I would have to go Freeman. Even as a CMC owner, I might want to see if I could add that extra piece. I can’t see Dion Lewis or Gallman outplaying Freeman over the long term altho I’m not expecting a Freeman monster.

Should I trade away Jonathon Taylor (or Clyde-helaire) and wentz for Dak Prescott and mixon.
It’s a rookie keeper league which means I can keep one rookie next year for free, which is a huge deal.
My main weakness is at QB, which I have wentz and Stafford, but maybe I can make them work
