RosterWatch Week 4 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet and Podcast Now Available

Building a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

  1. In a 12 team 0.5ppr are you dropping Mooney for Toney or Doubs?

    1. Probably so

  2. Should I back up AJ Brown with DeVonta Smith? Would have to drop Henderson or Edmonds to do it but leaves me with Henry, Swift, Penny, Brian Robinson, Pollard, and Pierce.

    1. If Smith is out there you should pick him up. Brian Robinson can be dropped from those options.

  3. 10 team PPR 2-1 , Play 1 QB 3WR 2RB 1 Flex 1 TE
    Me
    Russ Wilson
WR: Kupp, Marq Brown (Az), DLondon, Bateman, Garrett Wilson Mooney, Eli Moore,
    RB: DSwift, Fournette, BHall, Montgomery
    TE: Pitts

RB issues: DSwift out for a few weeks and Montgomery injured
QB issue: I have Russel Wilson
WR issue: Mooney Keep or toss him Might make sense to keep and wait for Chicago to get better

Should I ( rank order that I should do the following through waiver this week):
    1. RB issue: Add JamWilson KHerbert SPerine AMattison and/or BRobinson (need better RB depth with injuries) (drop Mooney and or EliMoore)

2 QB issue: Stay with Russ Wilson and wait until Denver gets its act together or add waiver available TLawrence, Goff, Wentz Carr Mariotta Cousins (and drop Mooney and or EliMoore and /or Russ Wilson)

    thank you

    1. If none of the above is worth making a move:
      Available on waiver are
Ktoney RDoubs and JWilliams Kherbert Amattison BRobinson

      Drop Mooney andor EliMoore?

    2. Mooney can be dropped for Jamaal Williams that is a snap call.

T-Law over Russ, but be aware this could be a tough week vs PHIL DST.

  4. If I’m more concerned about ROS stash vs immediate help this week, would you drop Burks for Toney or Doubs?

Would you rather stash a backup TE like Conklin/Irv Smith/Njoku or stash Toney? (have Pitts at starting TE)

Drop Darryl Henderson or Burks for Jamaal Williams/Herbert?

    1. We recommend holding Burks, he looks like he could star to come on strong. No need to store a B/U TE if you have Pitts.

  5. I’m having a bad luck start this year boys. I’ve scored the most points in the league and I’m sitting at 1-2. 10 team half a point ppr. QB 2RB 2WR TE Flex
    QB
    The midget
    RB
    Barkley
    Patterson
    Akers
    Etiene
    Hall
    WR
    Cupp
    St Brown
    T Hill
    London
    D Smith
    Metcalf
    E Moore
    TE
    Higbee

I’m starting to get concerned about the Arizona offense. Should I grab Lawrence or maybe consider streaming?

I’ll make a grab for Herbert and I guess drop Moore if I get lucky but otherwise I feel like I don’t really have much droppable with Akers and Etienne showing some life.

    1. We love your squad, those bad luck games will flip. Stay the course. Very reasonable to use T-Law but may not want to THIS week vs PHIL

  6. Hey guys, I’m in a10 team PPR. I was able to pick up Dak last night before the start of the game. I have Russ as my starter, should i drop Russ for Trevor until Dak comes back? Russ looks like he doesn’t have a pot to cook with or for that matter piss in and the coach looks like he’s so lost he’s the poster boy for the lost children on the side of a milk carton.

    1. We agree T-Law over Russ. In a 10 teamer Russ can be cut.

  7. Is Mack Hollins worth burning a number one waiver pick?

    1. Worth a pickup, likely not worth the #1 priority unless you are going to start him this week. Save that #1 for an RB when you need it most

  8. Would you rather start Phi def against a surging jax, or drop Phi to pick up Pitt against NYJ?

    1. Pitt D is abetter play but Phila DST might be a hold. Is there a position player you can cut?

  9. Post By Robert Braswell

Hey brothers King of the north here 1st off prayers for safety for Byron and his family..stay safe brother

    1. We will pas your good wishes onto Byron. Thank you!

  10. Post By Robert Braswell

Secondly do I grab Josh palmer or Josh Reynolds ..Thanks

    1. Though that 10 target game was nice for Reynolds, there are a lot of weapons on that Detroit team. Josh Palmer is the one. Though not 100% healthy we rather be attached to the Herbert offense

  11. Would you trade Hollywood & devonta to go after Mixon?

    1. That is a fair trade, but do you have the WR depth to sustain the 2 for 1? If yes. Go for it Rbs are hard to come by

      1. Thx Alan. Other WRs are Cooks, Olave, Bateman, Elijah Moore, and Toney. Would you suggest a different pairing for Mixon?

  12. I’m rockin both Waddle and Tyreek in a 10-team .5-PPR Keeper league (two keepers). 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 Flex.

Other WRs are: Olave, London, Samuel, Gabe Davis, G Wilson, Cooks.

While keeping both is probably sustainable to a degree, would it be more ideal to shop Tyreek on a sell-high mountain to boost my RBs or QB? Waddle has better draft capital value.

  13. I’m not sure Hill is a sell high right now coming off a 33 yard game. I’d look to consolidate your WR corps behind him instead, as you’re deep there, and several of those WRs are producing well right now. It seems like the Miami situation is actually tenable too, as strange as it seems.

    1. Agreed that Hill isn’t sell-high now. Was waiting for an explosive game later.

Definitely trying to consolidate elsewhere. Trying to get Kamara on a buy-low to recycle him later.

      1. Or sell high on Waddle? Even though he is also clearly a stud.

  14. 6 pt passing TD

    Carr vs Denver
    Goff vs SEA
    Mariota vs CLE

    1. Mariota’s rush upside is how we would play it. Goff not bad either

  15. Sup y’all. What do we think about this trade offer. My Jeudy and Mike Williams for his Cordarelle Patterson and Kirk. .5 PPR

    1. Cordy Pat/Kirk side stands out as the better value

  16. 12 team PPR would you trade away Dalvin Cook, Curtis Samuel, and Tua to get Aaron Rodgers and Derrick Henry? Tua is my current starter at QB, and I think I need an upgrade – not that Rodgers has been great, but maybe he’ll be more consistent?

    1. We prefer your side more. Hold the line
