Byron BylineBuilding a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

Listen to the podcast as a supplement to the sheet as you’re setting waiver claims for additional insight, however, the pod does not give the exact order and/or tiers of the sheet so do not consider it a substitute for using the sheet.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

      Keep CMC, he’s the best player in fantasy and your WR are fine. If you matchup play your WR correctly and work maybe some other trade angles to improve that group is your best shot. Letting go of the best player in fantasy for a WR and RB2 isn’t enough

      This is either a 10 tm league, or a short bench to have to drop Hyde. You don’t have anybody else? I’m only counting maybe 13 guys on your roster including QB, DEF, K. You can’t take a zero at TE, so yeah if you have to you’ll need to consider dropping somebody. I would drop Hyde over Royce.

      You should always look to recycle/refresh 1-2 players off the bottom of your roster every week via waivers-

      But, first you have to decide if you even have anyone you can drop. You could consider dropping Landry and / or possibly even Drake for one of the top guys on the sheet

    frustrating week for me coming in 1-2 and need a win. Injuries and Byes currently has me only having 1 rb in a 12 team PPR. I have the 2nd waiver and SHOULD be able to get Gallman but if I can’t does anyone else stand out who could have value for just this week? Couple other options out there are Ty Johnson, Ballage, Hines (have Mack already), Prosise and Sproles.       Think you’re giving up too much to get Pollard handcuff, and Gordon as a big name stash. The Barkley owner is the one in a pinch. Pollard is valuable to you, but not to the other owner. Maybe send him DWilliams for Pollard straight up , or throw in a DJax or Cohen + DWilliams —-see if you can do a stand alone deal for Pollard if necessary

      Would be helpful to know who else he owned— but really he should send you Gordon, Pollard, Metcalf for Gallman and Cohen / DWill

      Still- that moves a lot of equity to your bench and you will be crazy deep at WR which is fine, but will need to be prepared to make other moves to consolidate that depth

      Also, even if you like Metcalf more than Ross— you should be able to get more than an even swap there— Ross is more valuable, at least to some degree currently. Even if you disagree that makes this Gallman or Gallman / Cohen for Gordon + Pollard — which I don’t think cuts it

      Just don’t think Gordon and Pollard is enough for Gallman ——Ross for Metcalf you can do better—- don’t care about Cohen he’s a throw away so if you want to sweeten pot with him that’s fine

      In this deal you’re basically getting a bunch of dudes for your bench for foreseeable future, and trading away the one guy who looks like a starter for now— and totally letting Barkley owner off hook . Twist his/her peanuts a little harder

      I would say maybe do it and throw in a shittier WR than Ross- but you don’t have any shitty WR unless he will maybe take DJax— then we are closer but you still aren’t robbing him
