The epic DFS Cheat Sheet for Fanduel is now available for download to RosterWatch PRO members. In addition to the cheat sheet, pro members also have access to our private “Trends” database (The DuelTool) to dig deeper into the slate and to find players who were left off the sheet. (See link to the private spreadsheet at the bottom of the page to access this week’s trend ratings).

HOW DOES THE SHEET WORK?

THE GOAL of the sheet is to reduce the number of players for the weekly slate to players expected to generate Positive Surplus Value (fantasy points over salary expected points). The player pool is narrowed down to players who meet a minimum number of trends.

THE TRENDS are a series of pass/fail threshold tests of position-specific stats predictors. Through the use of predictive models, we have analyzed every predictive metric we could for each position related to Vegas Indicators, Unit Matchups, Individual Matchups, Historical Performance, Game Script, Weather, and so much more.

Using a non-linear model, we’ve found BASELINES for each metric. For each baseline TREND TEST, if the player passed, he receives a [+1]. For example, using the Matchup Tool Rankings vs. QBs, the model found that an Opponent Ranking ranked in the bottom (9) teams allow on average +3.7 surplus points to opposing QBs. If the QB’s matchup is ranked worse than the baseline, the QB receives [+1] trend. In addition to positive trends, negative trends are also included. The model found that the top ranked pass defenses vs. QBs allow on average -5.4 surplus points.

THE ORDER is determined first by position Salary Tiers, then by Total Trends. The salary tiers are colored by BLUE (High-Priced), RED (Mid-Range), PURPLE (Higher-Risk Bargains).

HOW TO USE THE SHEET

Choose the players from the sheet you like best. Mix-and-match them to create your personal, optimal lineup. It’s that simple.

Take note of projected ownership percentages when putting your team together. In 50/50, Double-Up and head-to-head contests, there is nothing wrong with rostering players who project as popular choices across the board. However, in larger field tournaments, it is always wise to differentiate from the public with a few lower-percentage plays and/or stacks.

The DraftKings Vegas Props Tool will be out late Saturday evening as always.

  1. trade question would u move L Bell d will and meredith for Newton Gurley and Torray Smith? I have kaep at qb right now 12 tm ppr thanks.

    1. forgot to mention 6 point passing td as well

      1. I would. Remove Smith from the equation. That guy has a bedroom reserved on the waiver wire. You need QB help. Fig Newton more than covers the difference between Todd and Bell.

        1. Need a wr and with kaep back smith will be his go to guy for a nice depth wr. But thank u for the input

            thanks man!

        2. it is 12 team league you don’t trade for a QB, there has to be Bradford, or something similar.

there is kaep and flacco lol thats it. guy started changing the deal anyway so doubt im doing it but its a 6 td pass league so good qbs matter a little more

  2. Trade question PPR: I would be getting Bell in exchange for Cooper and Anderson.
WRs; Cooks, Cooper, Ty. Williams, Fuller and Meredith
RBs: Anderson, Both Washingtons, Perkins and Henry

    1. how many wrs u start 2 or 3?

      1. 2 wrs 2 rbs and 2 flex

        1. Make the deal. Adding Bell is never a bad thing. You will still have good pass catchers remaining…

        2. Ur gonna struggle to find a rb 2 but I’d do it since ur only starting 2 wrs.

  3. 2 questions – both standard scoring.
    1. If McCoy is out this Sun, whom would you start – Tate, D. Parker or T. Benjamin?
    2. Which RB do you like better over the next few weeks – M. Davis, or Booker? I assume Booker.

    1. 1. I like Tate.
      2. Davis because the door has opened for him to walk thru.

      1. Thanks.

  4. I have a feeling that this is more of a coleman week than a freeman one. Need to start 3 out of these guys. Ware, Coleman, quizz, gillislie, freeman. Also moving forward do you think ware is a good sell high if Charles doesn’t play this week and ware has a monster game? I will try to pair him up with a wr and trade him to the mc coy and charles owner for mc coy

    1. .5 ppr btw

      1. Hard to say without McCoy confirmation. I believe he will be out. Charles is going to play but I like Ware more and Freeman over Coleman. Assuming McCoy is out.. Freeman, Ware, Gillisle.

  5. 12 man ppr, need 3 from these 4…..L.Bell, L.Miller, S. Ware & J. Rodgers……

    Thanks

    1. Bench Rodgers

  6. 12-team .5ppr / .5 1st down rush. Need help figuring out the flex. I see you like Crow this week in your rankings, but the DFS sheet seems to have Crow and Duke a lot closer. Maybe I’m not reading it right. Anyway, here are my best options for one spot.
    Crow
    Duke
TBenjamin (I have Tyrell in my wr2 spot)

Trash on the wire is smelly – rosters are deeep. I could drop Woods for Garcon, Chester Rogers, Quick or any of the remaining Bills to include in the options above. Thx guys

    1. Fly the Crow.

  7. I see Jack Doyle is not on the fanduel cheat sheet. The narrative is there with him being cut by Tennessee. Is he a possibility or should i stick to the te on the sheet?

    1. Thats ballsy and the first I have heard of this narrative. I kind of like it. Roll him out there if you are looking to punt at TE.

  8. Standard-need a TE. Pitta @ Jets, Clay @ Mia, Brate @ 49ers, V. Davis @ Det, Gates @ Atl

  9. Brate.

  10. The worst part about owning the Lamborghini is watching David Johnson do what you had hoped Gurley would be doing all fucking year. Smh. Dammit!

  11. Half point ppr need an RB and a flex out of Coleman, Crowell, Michael, Michael Thomas, and Golden Tate.

      1. Thanks for the confirmation. Great show tonight by the way!
