RosterWatch Week 7 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet and Podcast Now Available

Building a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

Got offered Etiene/ London for Connor/ B.Cooks 1 pt ppr

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

ETN and London certainly has more upside and even more floor. That is a great deal for you Good luck

    Couple questions:

    1) Is Dobbins droppable for Etienne, Latavius or D Harris (in that order? Other RBs: D Mont, Kamara, Fournette, B Robinson, Walker.

    2) Need a QB this week and possibly for another week after: would you have Daniel Jones or Jimmy G over anyone on the sheet this week? hoping Geno gets dropped but cant count on that. Thank you

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Jones has a bit more upside with his rushing ability, but Jimmy G has the pass catchers that have YAC upside. They are in a similar bucket. We would start DJ but there isn’t much difference in a projection. Good luck

    2. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Dropping Dobbins for ETN is a solid move. JKD dos not look the same preinjury, maybe he will get there, but ETN better bet

  3. In a ppr are you dropping E Moore for Either of the Dales (Rondale or Wan’Dale)? Thanks guys

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

yes Moore has “squeaky wheel” upside this week, but we prefer Rondale , then Wandale over him

  4. 10 team PPR 3-3, Play 1QB 3WR 2RB 1Flex 1TE No IR spots
    Me:
QB: Geno Smith , Dak Prescott
WR: Kupp, DLondon, GPickens Marq Brown (Az)-Out for 6 weeks
RB: DSwift, Fournette, BHall JWilliams (DET) , Montgomery
    TE: Pitts,T Hill

This week I need to pick up (or trade for) 1 WR to play, minimum. Actually my depth is low because I recently needed to carry 2QB and 2RB

I am thinking of dropping TE THill and QB Geno Smith
Should I consider dropping MarqBrown who is out or 6 weeks?

From the below avaailable on Waiver, who should I drop (order) and who should I be trying to get??
    Available on waiver: PPR
WR: Bateman(Balt) WandDale Robinson,, MGallup AlecPeirce JDotson Jameson Williams, TThorton
RB: LatMurray RWhite (I have Fournette

    Thinking

  5. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Hollywood Brown is droppable if you do not have an IR spot. Even when he comes back he will need ramp up games. easy cut.

I love stashing Jameson Williams if you don’t need him right away. If you need help right now, Wandale is the most intriguing.

  6. PPR league
    RB: mccaffrey,swift,pierce,walker,etienne,B Robinson
    WR: lamb,AJ Brown,Dhop,Godwin,Sutton,Dionte Johnson
    TE: Goedert is on Bye

I need to drop one to grab a TE, was leaning towards either etienne or B Robinson as the most droppable. Who out of the players listed would you say is most droppable?

  7. I’d say Robinson

  8. Trade help please.
I give up Kamara and c. Sutton
    I get Kupp
    Should I do this?
    12 team keeper ppr
    Rbs- Henery, Swift, Kamara
    Wrs Diggs, Lamb, Sutton
    Thank you@

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Great trade for you. Pull the trigger!

  9. Drop Doubs for wandale or alec?

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Alec Pierce the preferred option, then Wandale

  10. Post By mjgoodsman@live.com

Should I drop Tyler Allgeier for Rachaad White?

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Yes, TA prob has more value this week, but if LF goes down..ohh baby you are going to want White

  11. Rankings currently suggest Geno over Dak.

At 2-4, I’m in must-win territory, but with a lineup I have confidence in moving forward. I’m inclined to throw Dak into the mix given the matchup, though I could see both QBs lean on running backs (either passing or handing off).

Upside play is Dak, is it not?

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

We agree if Dak plays he is worth the start. He is a better player. But coming off the injury has risk

  12. Rosterwatch Nation is a beast!

    12 team .5ppr. 5-1 record.

Need to drop 2 of the following to pick up a Kicker and Defense:

    Won’dell Robinson, K. Herbert, M. Carter, G Edwards.

My WRs – Chase, Higgins, Williams, G Davis, Amon Ra and Won’dell.

My RBs- Saquan, J Wilson, B Robinson , R White, Herbert, Carter and Gus Edwards.

    Thanks for you insight.

    1. I am working on 2 for 1 trades.

    2. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Drop Gus, we dont know when he will play or what his role will be. might be able to get him back next week.

Tough call on the 2nd drop, but Carter if you need to.

      1. Thanks Alan.

  13. Post By Cysplash@gmail.com

Hey boys. Got a really dirty question.
Byes and injuries hit hard. I would punt the week but I’m 1-5
    Need a pros help.
Gotta start 2 of these WRs, 0.5. Ppr
    C Samuel
    W Robinson
    Mecole
    Claypool
    Robbie
    N Collins
    Parker

Caveat, I need 2 to hit upside because I’m planning on not starting a kicker.

Otherwise I gotta drop D Harris, C Patt or Goddert.

I know, rough. But I’m confident that there will be at least 2 players on that list that hit a couple home runs. Which ones do you think. Haha.

    Let’s go

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Wandale’s role is likely to grow this week. We prefer him and pair him with Claypool if Mitch starts. If you can’t wait on that until Monday night Nico is a nice play out of the bye. Good luck!

  14. Good morning.

at RB who should I start – J WIlliams (Det) or Murray

at WR — Aiyuk or Sutton

    thanks

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

We prefer JW but Lat Murray is a nice start too.

WE: Need to ride with Aiyuk here.

  15. Need Input,

12 team. Full point ppr. 3-3 record.

    1) With Hurts on bye would you prefer Matt Ryan, Jimmy G, Daniel Jones, or Tannehill as a by week filler? (Opponent starting Aiyuk and Kittle if it matters)

    2) Would you start Olave or Swift in the flex this week?

    3) Would you trade Swift for AJ Brown? (Other rb’s= Henry, Jacobs, Breece, Allgeier, Melvin (probably gonna throw him to the package too) (Other wr’s=waddle, ceedee, olave)

    Thanks

We answered this in other thread, go check it out. Good luck!

  16. Fellahs,

If Bailey Zappe is #1 on the WWCS, does that mean that he’s 100% starting on Monday night against atrocious Bears D? Need a fill in for Josh Allen. Otherwise Goff is available coming off stinker & bye, going against a top Cowboys D. Matt Ryan looks like the safest bet, huh?

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Zappe is likely starting but you don’t want to be caught off guard on a Monday with no opinions. Start Goff, coming out of the bye.
