RosterWatch Week 9 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet and Podcast Now Available

Building a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

  1. Dowdle was dropped . Worth spending fab

    1. maybe a little but not a huge spend. like 15-20%

  2. Non FAAB waiver situation. Should i try to acquire any of the following for Tillman or Ridley or Metchie III (with the news about Diggs being done) for Lockett.

  3. Whats your POV on Richardson? You guys were so high on him, drafted him in high stakes dynasty and redraft. Not sure if he’s even worth keeping at this point

    1. he’s not worth keeping in redraft, they’re going to take it slow with him . Still holding on in dynasty. It’s been a terrible runout.

  4. This is hard to believe but someone dropped Zay Flowers. 12 team, Superflex.
Now that Diontae Johnson is a Raven what percent would you bid on Flowers, please?

    1. I’d go hard for Flowers Doc. Like 40-50% if I needed WR. It could go bad with DJ there but it could also free Zay up a little bit. He certainly needs to be owned.

      1. Alex, I agree. Thank you very much. Good luck this weekend.

  5. 12 team PPR (4-4; 6th place)
    QB: Darnold
RB: Hall, Henry (B. Allen, Dowdle, Brooks*)
    WR: Waddle, JSN (Evans*, Odunze)
    TE: Kraft (Hockenson*)
    Flex: Javonte Williams, Tillman
    DEF: Broncos
    IR: Pacheco*
    (Bench: 6 spots)

    Available:
    QB: Stafford, Nix, Winston
    WR: Legette, Metchie

I’m debating dropping Darnold for one of the available QBs like Stafford, Nix, or Winston? Any other add/drop suggestions?

    1. Hi Alex, He’s the same as Downs so maybe 25% for Zay Flowers?

    2. I think I’d hold onto Darnold for now.

I picked up tillman and need to drop 1 to add a kicker this week. I can drop Kincaid ( have otton), jordan mason, etieene, jamison williams or bralen allen ( have hall), or brooks if you think he is done. Thanks.

    1. Out of all those guys I’d drop JMO.

  7. I really value the insights from you guys and appreciate all the work you all put in, but I’ve been having trouble getting answers to my questions in time to make waiver decisions. As a PRO member, I was hoping for more support in these cases. I try to catch the Waiver Wire show, but live timing doesn’t always work with my schedule. Is there any way to ensure questions like mine don’t slip through the cracks? Thanks!

    1. we’ll make sure someone is here to do waiver stuff on Tuesday nights for people if you have Tuesday night waivers. thx for the feedback

      1. WE ARE A NATION! Thanks Alex!

Would you trade Nabers and LaPorta for CeeDee?

I have tucker craft and can’t get anyone to trade for either. I love nabers but hate being tied to Daniel jones.
