PRO RosterWatch Week 9 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet Now Available

Building a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

Whether you play in a standard waiver claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

      It is really hard to project West’s value without news regarding Ware. Ware could play this week and be fine moving forward. Thus you just spend most of your remaining budget on a handcuff. Or West could carry you the next 2 weeks. I expect it to be very hard to outbid Jamal and Ware owners for West. Hightower would not be a bad consolation prize. We all remember how many Championships he won last year. And i expect him to punch in a shorty this week in SF.

    Trade Question PPR: I’d be getting Coates and Parker for Snead. But I am pushing for Coates and Coleman, would you like that better for Snead?
    What you guys think about Prosise as a flex platy in ppr this week?

      Adding Coleman in the trade is never a bad thing.

      Yes I would consider Prosise as a PPR flex. I think he can get 4+ catches a week moving forward. His carriers are likely to rise as well.

      Yes drop Charles for West if you need to win now. Charles is just hanging on because of name value. I hope he comes out of the Doc appointment well. But even so i don’t think he will ever be busting out 70 yards scores like he once did. He was a great player but father time catches all.

      We’ve always liked JJ Nelson- look at our Combine WR scores from 2015- and listen to our audio on the site with GM Steve Keim about him.

      Cardinals on bye, too many mouths to feed in Arizona, Palmer struggling- Nelson isn’t a huge priority. He also weighs 156 pounds- those guys just don’t cut it with any kind of consistency in the NFL. He’d be a one week desperation play.

    Darn another tough loss this week dropping me to 3-5! Still not out of it but need a WIN badly entering bye week hell! Top options on waivers are: Enuwa, Hightower, Coleman, Prosise, Britt, Rishard Matthews, Coates, etc. but the only player I think I can drop for someone is Dak Prescott?

    Thing is I don’t want to drop Dak because my opponent has both his QBs on bye and I don’t want him to be able to pick up and start Dak against me. So it a better a strategy to not make any moves this week and instead hold both my QBs which will force my opponent to have to pick up one of: Eli, Kaep, Fitz, Bradford, etc or should I drop Dak and risk it and then who would be my best pickup considering the makeup of my team?

    10 team, standard and moved up to 4th place (only 4 go to playoffs) due in a large part to your site! I value your feedback and reasoning each week.

    I am reviewing ROS including the playoff weeks, and looking to strengthen my WR position (weakest spot). I’m set for week 9. I have Cooper/Moncrief/Maclin/T Williams/Britt

    I know it’s too early to know if Britt is an asset, and not as trusting of Maclin’s consistency (in part due to QB Smith), and have the following on ww.

    Should I drop anyone for the following?

    C Coleman (like him with McCown and the Brown’s remaining schedule)
    S Coates (decent Steeler’s ROS and good w/ Ben, if he-QB remains healthy)
    A Hurns (he’s talented but between QB challenges and Jag’s ROS, I am hesitant)

    You can start Murray and Henry this week, Henry is going to get some extra reps this week. Also- like the idea of seeing if you can at least give yourself some options to mull by picking up Hightower, Prosise etc- those guys should be owned anyways

    I cannot get the Bell owner to trade me for D. Williams. I’m in a bind this week with the byes. I need a QB this week. Not much on the waiver wire, but Prescot is. If I can get him, do I drop Williams? Other options are drop Gillislee, Maclin, or Meredith.

      The other owner knows you probably have to drop him. If you don’t want to- prob fine to drop Gillislee who you prob aren’t starting at SEA- who then has a bye next week- then Shady could be back anyways. That’s what we would do. Keep DWill.

      probably. Jones is going to be impossible to trust moving FW. Rob Kelley is now even more in the mix and we all know Thompson steals 3rd down and 4 min offense stuff. Jones will have some big games, but you’ll never know when to start him.

    I play in a league where you can only have 2 QB’s on your roster. I have Luck and Carr. Both on their bye this week. When I drop one, probably get swoop’d by another GM. Standard non ppr 10 teams…….which one do you guys going forward, and into the payoffs……The steady Luck, or the emerging Carr, based on all you know, and gut instincts . Thanks
