The Garbage Grab: Week 10
The Garbage Grab: Week 10

Emmanuel Sanders WR, Steelers: Antonio Brown is out elevating Sanders to starting wide receiver opposite Mike Wallace against Kansas City. Sanders is extremely capable and will fill in nicely for the injured Brown. If Sanders is already spoken for, you could take a gamble on Jerricho Cotchery. He will play in three wide sets.
Shane Vereen RB, Patriots: Vereen is making his second appearance on the Grab. Brandon Bolden is out for four games for a PED violation, so this is Vereen’s chance to cement himself as the number two in New England. He’ll get his carries, and that will mean something against a hapless Jets defense this week.
James Casey RB/TE, Texans: Owen Daniels is a big if for Sunday night’s matchup with the Bears, and Casey would be the prime beneficiary if he sits. Tight end is the one weakness the Chicago defense has, so whoever ends up starting will get plenty of targets. If that man is Casey, play him with confidence.
Taiwan Jones RB, Raiders: Marcel Reece is being talked up as the go to guy now that Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson are sidelined with ankle injuries, but it’s Jones who will probably get first crack at a Baltimore defense that is no longer a formidable front. Both will be productive, but Jones is in much greater supply on waivers right now.
Anthony Fasano TE, Dolphins: The sure handed Fasano has 142 yards and two touchdowns in three games versus the Titans. Look for him to pad those stats against a defense that is currently allowing the third most fantasy points to tight ends.
Ronnie Brown RB, Chargers: Second in catches for the Chargers, behind only Malcolm Floyd, the stalwart Brown is maintaining fantasy relevancy somehow. He won’t put up a monster, but he’s worth a flex play if you’re hurting.
Donald Jones WR, Bills: The recipient of nine targets last week, Jones is benefiting from the attention Stevie Johnson gets from defenders. I expect he’ll get a good share of them this week too, against a New England team Buffalo will have to throw on to even dream of beating.
Michael Jenkins WR, Vikings: Jerome Simpson is the field stretcher in Minneapolis, but his sloppy route running and nagging injuries are not doing him any favors. In Percy Harvin’s absence, Jenkins will be the receiver Christian Ponder looks to the most against Detroit.
