PRO Trashman’s 2018 Week 15 Flex Rankings (RB, WR, TE)

Trashman HeaderOften times, there is nothing tougher (or more important) than deciding who your weekly flex-plays are. It can be a mind-numbing experience having to make cross-positional projections.

This season, our RosterWatch PRO community will have personal and exclusive access to our very own disgusting Trashman, who has carefully curated his personal weekly flex rankings in order to help you in gaining input about your roster decisions.

PLEASE Keep in mind, these are not our official RosterWatch Week 15 rankings, but we’ve learned over time to pay extra-special attention to what the Trashman might have up his filthy sleeve – and where he stacks up players against one another for the coming weekend’s slate cross-positionally.

Our OFFICIAL rankings page here on the site will continue to be updated through the day Saturday and Sunday morning as more information comes in and we become more comfortable with player slotting. In the meantime, have a look at how the Trashman sees the Week 15 slate shaking out – as his inputs to our formula are a key (albeit disgusting) component.

    Where do you see Damien Williams fitting in your flex rankings, in relation to players like Jaylen Samuels, Edwards, Adams, and Jeff Wilson?

        Agreed. That’s what happens when you lose backs like Hunt, Connor, Gordon, etc. as you enter the FF playoffs.

      It’s hard to say as there are a few backs behind him that could steal carries. I’m erring on the side of caution. I’d put him on the back end right now

    Follow up to the question 2 up about QB – JAllen specifically:
    What if Detroit decides to invest Defensive capitol and take away the JAllen run – then he has to beat them with his arm
    Is that risky for me to play JAllen over Mayfield, Carr?
    But 4 pts per passing TD 6 points per running TD

    Chicago , Dallas and Cleveland are available

    Should I try to get any? Would I play them over Houston? Or just to keep away

    I would drop a RB from:
    Kamara, Mixon, MGordon, DWilliams, GEdwards, GioBernard (saving this week to make sure Mixon doesn’t get injured for week 16 play) and SWare – who with my questions above I may snag a 2nd TE or 3rd QB?

    Think I’m leaning towards Jackson in the FLEX but I hate using TNF guys in the FLEX… Sutton and Drake have burned me too many times and D. Williams I’m still trying to believe in …

    2 RB, 2 WR, 1 FLEX

    Tough spot here:
    Need 2 RBs and a FLEX! looking at the following options:

    Trashman’s rankings suggest Michel, Williams and Edwards however the site rankings have Martin over Damien WIlliams … which has me befuddled!

    Sup Trashman, made it to the semis on the back of some key pickups (and some Trashy research, of course) and now I’ve got a dearth of options. I’d like your input, if you get the chance:

    0.5 PPR, Dynasty, Superflex

    My lineup currently:
    QB – Newton
    RB – CMC
    WR – Tyreek
    TE – Engram
    FL – J Jackson
    FL – Fournette
    FL – Woods
    FL – Ingram
    OP – L Jackson

    Bench:
    QB – Brady, Mullens
    RB – Drake, Sproles, Riddick, Yeldon, R Smith, Foreman
    WR – Humphries, Samuel, Foster, Coutee, Hamilton, R Anderson
    TE – Herndon

    QB/OP is the choice I’m having the most trouble with. It seems Cam is broken, Brady has Gronk back, Jackson has Flacco waiting for home to fail, and Mullens is Mullens but Kyle Shanahan is Kyle Shanahan.

    I’m also debating replacing Ingram and/or Woods, but I feel like it’s a roll of the dice to pick the replacement(s). I’d probably choose from Samuel, Humphries, Drake, Riddick, Sproles, or Foster (my opponent is starting Allen).

      I agree about the qb situation. I lean Brady over cam. Brady is coming off his best game of the season, and cam is ailing as you know. Both calm and Jackson have situations that could pull them out of the game, so I’d just go with upside there, which is cam against the saints for me.

    And who do you like better Goff or Luck? My opponent has T.Y.

      I’d rule out AMiller and go by the RB rankings for that one. If it’s close break the tie with the matchup. If it’s still close break the tie with the player in the contest Vegas has designated w/ the highest game total

    1 pt ppr. I had Keenan Allen last night 🙁 and I can start 2 more receivers. I have:

    Odell Beckham (Questionable- Plays Sunday)
    TY Hilton (Questionable – plays Sunday)
    Jarvis Landry (Plays Saturday)

    The waiver wire is virtually barren, so if I roll the dice on Beckham and Hilton and they don’t play, I’ll be stuck with the likes of Robert Foster, Jamison Crowder, Michael Gallup or John Ross.

      Gallup can be picked up and played in a pinch. We like him. Pettis too if he’s still out there. Pettis is a solid start this wk.

      Looks like your prob going to have to roll Jarvis and Ty. That’s not so bad!

        Yeah, I’m okay with it, so long as TY plays.

        Gallup is available in an emergency situation, but Pettis is not. If Pettis doesn’t play, is Kendrick Bourne a good spot start?

    Last night I had Keenan Allen and Tyreek Hill limp in for 8.1 total pts.

    Opponent had Philip Rivers (24.5), Mike Williams (36.5), Damien Williams (30.3), and Butker (4) go off for
    95.3 total pts. (He schooled me on the waiver wire).

      Go with the WR rankings and the matchups. If that’s too close defer to the snap% and targets. If that’s close go w/ the player in the contest w/ the highest Vegas game total. It’s Ridley or Samuel for me.

    Predicament! I need 2 of these 3 RBs, Standard. I already have Lindsey penciled in but I have to choose between Chubb, Cook, and Fournette for other RB and Flex spots. I see Trashman has Cook lowest in his Flex rankings but man, the Dolphins seem like a tasty matchup where Chubb is in Denver. Fournette’s matchup also seems juicy against the Redskins bleeding RB yards. Help!

Listening to you guys currently and it sounds like Lindsey in the flex, but realize I probably can’t go wrong. My opponent has had Damien Williams and Keenan Allen go.
