PRO Trashman’s 2019 Week 12 Flex Rankings: RB, WR, TE

Trashman HeaderOften times, there is nothing tougher (or more important) than deciding who your weekly flex-plays are. It can be a mind-numbing experience having to make cross-positional projections.

This season, our RosterWatch PRO community will have personal and exclusive access to our very own disgusting Trashman, who has carefully curated his personal weekly flex rankings in order to help you in gaining input about your roster decisions.     Trashman! I’m assuming the Flex Rankings are based off of 1/2 pt ppr. If so, would you start Landry or Crowder over Sutton in a 1 pt ppr? (you currently have Sutton over both those guys). I was thinking to roll with Landry in the “revenge” game against Miami. Thoughts…

    We start 3 WR’s and a Flex for 1pt ppr. Your rankings tell me to put Joe Mixon in my flex, but if you think otherwise in 1 pt ppr here is my lineup…

    QB – Prescott or Allen
    WR – Lockett
    WR – Edleman,
    WR – Sutton
    RB – McCaffrey
    RB – Fournette
    TE – Hollister
    FL – Mixon
    Bench – Landry, Crowder, Hollywood Brown, Miles Sanders, Guice,

    9-3 thanks to Roster Watch. AND I remember being laughed at when I took McCaffrey over Barkley as the 1st pick in the draft. I stuck with the Cheat Sheet and it worked!

      nice work mike, not trashman, but I wouldn’t mind starting either of those guys in PPR over Sutton if you feel it, they are close in our rankings, but we do still have Sutton slightly ahead. When things are so close, certainly feel free to go with your gut and congrats on your strong season.

    Hi Trashman and Rosterwatch,

    I’m in a PPR league with 3 RB’s and 3 WR and 2 TE. Have to play 1 of each and 2 Flexes. My RB’s are Zeke, Chubb, Montgomery. WR are Godwin, Keenan Allen, Allen Robinson. I’ve locked up week 14 bye already. Would you recommend dropping Montgomery and picking up a handcuff for Zeke or Chubb? Pollard and Hunt are both available (10 team league). If so, which one do you think is best to get?

    Also, someone dropped Chark. Should I switch him out with one of my WR’s? If so, which would you do?

      I wouldn’t drop Montgomery at this time for a handcuff, Chark needs to be owned but it hurts to drop ARob for him. Jags have the Bucs, Falcons, Raiders and Chargers left on their schedule which is a much easier road than A Rob so if I have to drop a WR to pick him up (assuming you can’ tdrop a backup TE or QB), then I would reluctantly do it for Chark.

    Not flex related, but I’m getting wary about Josh Allen vs. Denver. RW Rankings have Baker one spot ahead of Allen, and I’m inclined to make the swap given that Allen’s playoff schedule is brutal. I also can’t get over Allen’s work with his legs, and it’s making me want to keep him. I’ve been rolling with Allen since WK 8.

    I have Cousins to ride out the rest of the season, so a Baker float would be a one-week solve.

      You gotta keep to it with Coleman, it’s a good matchup at home and we still don’t know about Breida, etc. For the second Q I think that’s super tough and will defer to Trashman’s flex rankings.

    I had to drop Butker and Pickup Fairbairn. I didn’t want to drop Mattison but now thinking I should because Butker has been such a high scorer and Mattison is only worth it if Cook gets injured. Can still get Butker back. Thoughts?

      I have to update the rankings with our model + my personal ranks here in a minute. Byron has been busy with off-site shit and hasn’t gotten his in yet but he’ll update soon too. I have Allen lower than what shows now. I have zero issues playing him over Allen.

    Should I trade Jaylen Samuels for on bye Damien Williams or Kenyan Drake? I would start Jaylen if conner didn’t go this week. In a .5 ppr my other options are B Cooks, Lat Murray and Bo Scar. I am 6-5 in the playoffs and looking good but if I dropped the last 2 I wouldn’t make the playoffs.

      I’d rather own Drake or DWILL than Samuels ROS, but I think you need to do what you need to do to win this week. We still don’t know if we’ll have Cooks and Scarbrough feels thin but Samuels’ value is pretty damn weak when Conner gets back. It’s tough if you are sitting at 6-5. If you were 7-4 I’d say to make the deal for either of those guys. If you aren’t risk-averse you can try to roll with Scarbrough this week and have a more usable back for the playoffs.

    Samuels or Guice? I can drop E Engram and play both (league rule is once per year if you have a te on bye you can play an extra flex) . I dont really want to drop engram because of the playoff schedule but I do need the game. my other TE is H Henry.

    Standard league, I’m 8-3 and fine tuning my team for playoffs. Quick question about TE. I want 2 for ROS and picked up Goedert this week. I have Gerald Everett. I’ve been watching status of Delanie Walker and Njoku. I just saw the site’s updated rankings and see Walker in the top 10 for this week. Should I drop Goedert and/or Everett for Walker and/or Njoku for ROS? I have concerns over Everett’s ROS with only 1 target last week and Goff’s implosion. Thanks in advance.

    OR To pick up Goedart and not take a “0” in the TE spot I could drop either Lindsey, Montgomery, Sutton or E Engram instead
