Trashman’s Best Best-Ball Values (Week of July 9th)
Best Best-Ball Values
Best ball tourneys are well underway. They’re rife for exploiting players’ current fantasy values, before the regular season outlooks get completely dialed in. These are my best values to be had in best ball for the week of July 9th.
Rounds 1-5
Drake London, WR Falcons – 50.0 ADP
London could get hamstrung by suspect QB play, but as the top receiving option in Atlanta he arguably has the best strength of schedule of any WR after Week 6. Out of 10 contests afterward, the only formidable secondary the Falcons face is the Jets in Week 13, and their softest stretch is from Weeks 14-17 during the playoffs. London was WR20 during the playoffs last season, and the schedule wasn’t as favorable.
Rounds 6-10
Darren Waller, TE Giants – 78.0 ADP
Waller has had his last 2 seasons shortened by injuries, after posting 2 consecutive 1,000+ yard seasons, but he’s coming into 2023 healthy on a Giants team that is short of top tier receiving options. Waller is already running as the primary pass-catcher, and as his rapport grows with QB Daniel Jones, who should continue to progress under the tutelage of Brian Daboll, Waller is set up to be a potent weapon. He’s got top 5 TE upside this season, but you can draft him in the top 10.
Rounds 11-15
Rondale Moore – 131.3 ADP
Moore looks like the no.2 WR in a Cardinals offense that’s going to take a step back with Kyler Murray set to miss at least a chunk of the season. This could go one of two ways. Either the whole offense outside of James Conner becomes wholly unreliable in fantasy, or Hollywood Brown and Moore get peppered continuously with targets from whomever is throwing in a slew of come from behind situations. I’m leaning the latter.
