Trashman’s Fantasy Fallout Going Into Week 11

Trashman’s Fantasy Fallout Going Into Week 11 of the NFL Season

It’s do or die time in many a league, and there isn’t much room for error, so let’s get this right! Here’s the fallout going into Week 11…

Falcons – 15 @ Panthers – 25

  • 4 RBs got at least 4 touches for Atlanta on Thursday, as the epitome of a committee. Tyler Allgeier topped out at 11 touches but ended up with only 3 yards on account of -17 receiving yards. It was notable that Allgeier did get more touches than Cordarrelle Patterson in his second game back, and it would seem that Allgeier is the “lead” back for now.

  • Drake London scored his 3rd TD of the season, but he had just 38 yards otherwise on 5 receptions. This offense just isn’t catered to support London like a no.1 WR needs to be supported. You can flex London this week against the Bears, but you’re depending on him to score.

  • It was all D’Onta Foreman(31/130/1) for the Panthers in a home win. PJ Walker is out with a high ankle sprain, so Baker Mayfield will start this week versus Baltimore. Sam Darnold is fully healthy too, so he could supplant Mayfield if he struggles. Stay away from both QBs this week, if that wasn’t already a given.

  • Lavishka Shenault had 5 touches for 59 yards and a score on Thursday, displaying his startling athleticism almost every time he touched the ball. Shenault played 40% of snaps and should see similar usage moving forward, if Carolina knows what’s good for them.

Seahawks – 16 @ Buccaneers – 21

  • Marquise Goodwin(2/38/1) has scored 3 TDs in his last 3 games as a Seahawk. He’s a dart throw in DFS and otherwise, but he does seem firmly entrenched as the 3rd WR in Seattle and has a plus matchup with the Raiders this week.

  • Rachaad White(22/105) led the Bucs’ rushing attack in Germany, to great effect. We’ve been telling you to add White where you can for weeks now, so hopefully he’s not still on waivers in your league. Fournette did leave the game with a hip injury, but White got the start so his usage wasn’t necessarily based on Fournette’s injury. The Bucs have a bye this week, so Fournette could return in Week 12, but the genie is out of the bottle.

  • Julio Jones scored his 2nd TD in 3 weeks, and could be in for a larger role out of the bye. He needs to be owned in most formats for the playoff run.

Vikings – 33 @ Bills 30

  • Kj Osborn(4/35) had 11 targets on Sunday, as the Vikings did their damndest to keep up with the Bills and pulled off an amazing victory. I’d say it was a fluke, but the Vikings face the Cowboys this week in what should be another shootout. Osborn can be flexed in deeper formats.

  • Isaiah McKenzie had 55 yards on 5 touches, including a designed run. If he can’t get off in a barnburner like this game, I’m not sure he’s worth rostering. Khalil Shakir‘s involvement limits his upside.

Broncos – 10 @ Titans – 17

  • Latavius Murray(12/47) led the Broncos in touches, barely out touching Melvin Gordon(11 touches) who led the backfield in yards(11/70). Chase Edmonds only had 3 touches for 9 yards coming out of the bye, so it seems safe to say he’s the 3rd back. Murray and Gordon can be flexed in deeper formats this week against Vegas, but Edmonds needs to remain on benches.

  • Jerry Jeudy left the game with an ankle injury, the results of which we’ll get sometime today. If Jeudy has an extended absence, Kendall Hinton(4/62) is the next man up after Courtland Sutton(6/66). He’d be a decent flex against the Raiders this week, as they focus on shutting down Sutton.

  • Treylon Burks had 6 targets in his first action back from IR, but Nick Westbrook-Ikhine led the team in targets(8) and receiving(5/119/2). Robert Woods had more targets(7) as well. The Broncos did a decent job at stifling Derrick Henry, so the WRs got more opportunities than usual – Hell, even Austin Hooper(5/41) had 7 targets. That won’t usually be the case. Burks needs to be added in the case he gets worked more into the offense moving forward. I’m not as bullish on NWI.

Texans – 16 @ Giants – 24

  • Nico Collins(5/49/1) had his best game of the season in his return from injury against the Giants, getting a team high 10 targets. He’s got some deep league flex appeal against the soft Commanders secondary this week.

  • Brevin Jordan was a healthy scratch on Sunday, and not coincidentally, Jordan Akins(3/72) had his best yardage total of the season. Akins could provide some streaming value if Jordan stays inactive.

  • Chris Moore has had a TD or 70 yards in the last 3 games he’s played in. There are worse options to flex in 14-16 team leagues.

Jaguars – 17 @ Chiefs – 27

  • Zay Jones(8/68) had 10 targets against KC, and though his yardage totals don’t indicate how often he’s on the field, the targets and catches make him a viable PPR flex.

  • 2 weeks into his tenure with the Chiefs, Kadarius Toney(4/57/1) led KC WRs in targets(5). Marques Valdes-Scantling(3/60/1) did best him in yardage, but the line was encouraging for Toney, who should only get more involved.

  • Clyde Edwards-Helaire didn’t get a touch on Sunday and seems to have been phased out of the offense. Isiah Pacheco(16/82) and Jerrick McKinnon(7/58) need to be owned in all formats moving forward.

Lions – 31 @ Bears – 30

  • D’Andre Swift is tough to start in fantasy right now. With only 6 yards on 6 touches, his day was saved by 1 yard score. Justin Jackson(6/28) worked in for the same amount of touches. I’m only starting Swift if I have to this week against the Giants.

  • The good news is that Justin Fields has been QB1 over the past 4 games. The bad news is that his RBs are suffering for it. Fields is now the Bears QB and lead back, and with the team trying to get both Montgomery and Herbert the ball, neither one is able to accomplish much with their limited touches. Herbert is the more efficient back and can do a lot with a little on most days, so I’d still flex him. We’re hoping for TDs from Montgomery now.

  • One Bear who is benefitting from Fields’ recent play is TE Cole Kmet, who has 5 TDs over his last 3 games. He’s a must start right now.

Browns – 17 @ Dolphins – 39

  • Per usual, Amari Cooper(3/32) was terrible on the road. Donovan Peoples-Jones(5/99) led the team in receiving against Miami and has been surprisingly consistent this season. He’s an easy flex in PPR formats.

  • Jeff Wilson Jr.(19/133/1) has officially usurped Raheem Mostert(12/87/1) as the lead back in Miami. That being said, Mostert should still see enough touches to flex him in plus matchups.

Saints – 10 @ Steelers – 20

  • Andy Dalton(17/174/1/2) has gotten progressively worse since his Week 7 anomaly. We can only hope Jameis Winston gets his job back for the sake of the Saints WRs. It seems like Jarvis Landry‘s(3/37) return has just muddled the prospects of Chris Olave(3/40), as Dalton doesn’t get the ball out enough to keep them both viable in fantasy.

  • Juwan Johnson(5/44/1) has scored 4 TD over his last 4 games, and despite his considerable lack of yardage, it’s clear that he’s a primary red-zone target for Dalton.

  • Jaylen Warren(12/77) is creeping up in the touch department, getting 12 touches to Najee Harris(20/99)’ 20 on the day. Warren needs to be owned in 12 team or larger formats, as his role is increasing.

  • The Steelers are trying to find more ways to get George Pickens(5/55/1) touches, giving him 2 runs, one of which was for a TD. Pickens role will continue to grow, especially since Chase Claypool is gone.

Colts – 25 @ Raiders – 20

  • Matt Ryan(21/222/1) played like a man possessed on Sunday, since getting benched for 2 games. It appears that the Sam Ehlinger experiment is over for now, and that’s a good thing for all Colts skill players.

  • Parris Campbell(7/76/1) led the Colts in receiving, tying Michael Pittman(7/53) for 9 targets on the day. Campbell had started to mesh with Ryan before his benching, but he was useless with Ehlinger under center. He could see a lot of underneath targets this week against the Eagles’ formidable defense.

  • Foster Moreau(3/43/1) finally did something in fantasy while Darren Waller is out, but it was probably too little too late. If you took the plunge on him last week, congrats. He probably won’t come through again for you in Week 11.

Cowboys – 28 @ Packers – 31

  • Michael Gallup hasn’t been a significant part of Dallas’ plans since Dak’s return to action, though he was second in team targets with 7 on Sunday night. He’s a deep league flex against Minnesota in a game that we could see a lot of throwing in.

  • We told you Christian Watson(4/107/3) was the truth. You just had to wait 10 games to see it. He should be the top waiver pick at the WR this week, as he has earned himself a major role moving forward.

Cardinals – 27 @ Rams – 17

  • Rondale Moore(9/94) had just 1 fewer target than DeAndre Hopkins(10/98) on Sunday and just 4 fewer yards. An extension of the run game, Moore should be started in all formats at least until Marquise Brown‘s likely return in Week 14.

  • Cooper Kupp suffered an ankle injury and is slated to miss time for it. Van Jefferson(3/27/1) scored a TD in his absence, but both Ben Skowronek(2/14) and Allen Robinson(4/44) had more targets(7 and 6). Matt Stafford will likely be back from his concussion this week, so all 3 WRs are worth adding in the meantime. Jefferson seems like the most talented of the lot, but it’s anyone’s guess as to who ends up being the guy.

  • Kyren Williams could be a beneficiary of Kupp’s absence, as he caught 3 of 3 targets for 30 yards. With Darrell Henderson and Cam Akers both playing some uninspired football as well, I fully expect Williams to get more opportunities moving forward.

Chargers – 16 @ 49ers – 22

  • Gerald Everett(3/21) was forced out of the game with a groin injury, leaving Tre’ McKitty to man the TE position for LA. Everett ended up with 6 targets and could see considerable playing time if Everett can’t go this week.

  • Elijah Mitchell(19/88) actually out touched Christian McCaffrey(18/77) on Sunday 19 to 18. It’s a relief to Mitchell’s owners that he can still be relied upon in fantasy. Go grab Mitchell if he’s been abandoned in your league.

  1. Toney or C Watson I have to drop one?

    1. I guess it depends on why you need to drop one and are they a bench stash or someone you have to start? But without any further info, at this moment I’d drop toney. I don’t think Watson is all of a sudden going to be a must start but he has a clearer path to volume than Toney does right now. Dynasty Toney I keep for sure and if youre looking long term as a stash id hold Toney because his role is likely to increase as the weeks continue. Greenbay is going to get Cobb and Doubbs back soon.

      heartbreaking. Drop Toney.

  2. .5 ppr
Got offered Zay Jones for MVS straight up

Other WR are Lamb, Christian Watson, Wandale Robinson, G Wilson, Brandin Cooks and MVS

na. MVP at least has week winning upside. Obviously no floor though

  3. Gus the bus is on waivers, feel like I need to prioritize him over Watson, yes?

    Or is it team dependent.

Positional need plays a big part here

  4. Standard league . cook owner. ive also held on to kenan allen all year. is going to play? ive been offered mattison for allen and getting close to the playoffs im thinking about taking it.

also, i really need help at WR and the j chase owner in the league is basically out of contention. think he is worth trying to make a move on? i just don’t know how quickly/if he is going to bounce back from that hip injury. should i try and grab him?

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Keenan will eventually play and you will be happy to have him. If you trade for aM, that is selling low. Not a terrible thing, but more upside with KA.

Definitely make an offer for Chase.

  5. Best investment for playoff push in PPR league? Pacheco, White, or K Williams?

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Pacheco has the cleanest path to RB1-level production, White is 2nd. KW, a distance third (crowded)

  6. Lost Kupp, so the vultures are circling (record 9-1, clinched playoffs). Got offered a trade; receive – Amari Cooper+Mike Williams, give away Tyreek Hill (0.5ppr). Worth it to cover for Kupp? Rest of the team:
    WR: Devonta Smith, Curtis Samuel
RB: Barkley, Walker, Jacobs, Wilson Jr, Hubbard, Montgomery, Hines
    TE: Goedert
    QB: Hurts
