Trashman’s Fantasy Fallout Heading Into Week 4
Trashman’s Fantasy Fallout Going Into Week 4 of the NFL Season
Week 3 came with stunning wins and shocking losses – of games and of players. Here’s the fallout going into Week 4…
Bills 31 @ Dolphins 21
James Cook (19-108-1; 3-10-0) cleared 100 yards and cashed near the stripe, and that 22 opportunity workload keeps him lodged as a high-end RB2.
Dalton Kincaid (5-66-1, 6 tgt) soaked up middle-of-the-field work and looks like a weekly PPR glue guy.
Tyreek Hill (5-49-1, 10 tgt) salvaged the night with a red-zone grab, as did Jaylen Waddle (5-39-1, 6 tgt).
Rookie Ollie Gordon(9-38-1) powered his way to a score and made a strong argument for more touches. You need to scoop him while you can.
Steelers 21 @ Patriots 14
Calvin Austin(3-34-1) is quickly becoming Rodgers’ go-to guy. He needs to be owned in PPR formats.
Antonio Gibson(7-28) got way more touches than I’m comfortable with, but that had most to do with Rhamondre Stevenson(4-18; 3-38) fumbling twice. Don’t be surprised if Gibson and TreVeyon Henderson(11-28; 3-19) get more touches in WK4.
Hunter Henry(8-90-2) went off in this one. He’s available in 40% of leagues.
Raiders 24 @ Commanders 41
Geno Smith (19/29-289-3-0) efficiently tossed three scores to pace a high-output Washington attack. He’s worth streaming in plus matchups.
Tre Tucker (8-145-3) went nuclear for Las Vegas and is a must-add across formats.
Chris Rodriguez(11-39) led in touches, but both Jeremy McNichols(4-78-1) and Jacory Croskey-Merritt(8-26-1;1-5) outperformed him throughout the game. McNichols is the most readily available in leagues right now.
Luke McCaffrey’s(3-56-1) usage has gone up in every game this season thus far. He’s one to watch in PPR formats.
Falcons 0 @ Panthers 30
UDFA Nathan Carter(7-46) fumbled on his last touch, but he was efficient with his touches. The Falcons already have a stacked RB room, so I don’t see him making much noise outside of blowouts.
Rico Dowdle(10-30-1; 1-8) had 11 touches and a TD. The Panthers won their first game of the season leaning on the run, so expect them to do the same in WK4. Dowdle could be worth a look in deep formats.
Jets 27 @ Buccaneers 29
Baker Mayfield (19/29-233-1-0) managed the offense and hit Mike Evans (4-33-1, 8 tgt) for a score before Evans left with a hamstring. Evans is going to miss some time, making Emeka Egbuka even more vital. Sterling Shepard(4-80) is worth adding in PPR formats, and it probably makes sense to add Chris Godwin if he’s available in your league.
Tyrod Taylor (26/36-197-2-1; 8-48) kept NY alive with mobility, and Garrett Wilson (10-84-1, 13 tgt) dominated looks.
Most of Braelon Allen’s(6-30; 2-17_ touches came when the Jets were down 2 scores, so don’t get too excited about that.
Texans 10 @ Jaguars 17
Woody Marks’(6-27; 1-9)usage is increasing. Joe Mixon is going to return in the near future, but it makes sense to invest in Marks’ upside.
Bhaysul Tuten(6-21-1) found the endzone for the 2nd straight week, though his touches were down from WK2. He’s going to stay involved in this offense and should be owned.
Parker Washington(4-34) led the Jags with 11 targets, with Dyami Brown exiting the game. He’s worth adding in PPR formats if Brown misses time.
Rams 26 @ Eagles 33
Blake Corum(8-53) stayed involved in WK3, riding the wave of a WK2 breakout of sorts. If Kyren WIlliams(2-94; 2-18-1) were to miss time, Corum would feast.
AJ Brown(6-109-1) finally paid off. The Eagles play up to the competition. They’ll win with the run if they can, but they definitely needed to air it out in this one.
Packers 10 @ Browns 13
Matthew Golden(4-52) led the Pack in receiving in a losing contest. He should continue to get more looks with Jayden Reed sidelined.
Quinshon Judkins(18-94-1) is undoubtedly the lead back in Cleveland. He’s still available in almost 30% of leagues.
Colts 44 @ Titans 20
There was little for anyone else to do in this one, with Jonathan Taylor taking the reins. Alec Pierce(4-67) entered concussion protocol after this one. Josh Downs(2-34) would see increased usage this week against the Rams, if Pierce misses the game.
Elic Ayamanor(4-38-1) continued his productive run, finding the endzone once. Only owned in 20% of leagues, his role will only continue to grow.
Chig Okwonkwo(5-66) led the Titans in receiving. He’s averaging 5 targets per game, but his upside is limited in this offense.
Bengals 10 @ Vikings 48
Jake Browning(19-27-140-1-2) was less than underwhelming in his first start since taking over for Joe Burrow(foot), turning the ball over twice. Minnesota has a solid defense, but Denver has an even better one, and the Bengals face them this week. I’m fading Bengals players where I can.
Carson Wentz(14-20-173-2) only threw the ball 20 times, but he was efficient with the ones he completed. JJ McCarthy will be out for several more weeks, so Wentz makes for a decent streamer in WK4 against the Steelers, who are yielding big action to QBs this season.
Jordan Mason(16-116-2) thrived in his first start with Aaron Jones(hamstring) on injured reserve. He’s a must start this week against Pittsburgh.
Broncos 20 @ Chargers 23
Courtland Sutton(6-118-1) and JK Dobbins(11-83-1) did it all for the Broncos. Troy Franklin(2-8) fell back to earth, but he has a soft matchup in WK4 so he’s worth considering in deeper formats.
Is Quentin Johnston(6-89) the no.1 in LA? Either way, he’s a necessary add in all formats. Also Keenan Allen(7-65-1) has scored in every game this season. Ladd McConkey has taken a backseat to both, which is troublesome, as he’s not a consistent red-zone option.
Saints 13 @ Seahawks 44
Tyler Shough(0/2) got some action in garbage time, with Spencer Rattler(28-39-1-1) flailing around for much of the game. Rattler should still start this week, but the leash is getting shorter.
Tory Horton(3-32-1) scored for the 2nd straight week, tallying the 2nd most yards for Seattle. He may have leapfrogged Cooper Kupp for the no.2 WR role in this offense.
George Holani(10-27; 2-15) got increased action with Zach Charbonnet sidelined, though he didn’t do enough to warrant more touches in WK4. He’s insurance.
Cardinals 15 @ 49ers 16
James Conner is lost for the season, making Trey Benson(10-42) a must add in every format. This is what his owners have been waiting for. He’s still available in half of leagues.
Kendrick Bourne(4-38) garnered 6 targets in WK3, but Ricky Pearsall is the clear no.1 with Jauan Jennings and Brandon Aiyuk still out. Brock Purdy should be back this week too.
Cowboys 14 @ Bears 31
George Pickens(5-68-1) matched his WK2 line exactly, scoring his 2nd TD of the season. He’s always just a play away from fantasy production and is a must start this week with CeeDee Lamb(ankle) out for at least one game.
Luther Burden III(3-101-1) had a coming out party against Dallas, but he still only had 3 targets on the day. He’ll be more of a DFS special this week against Vegas.
Chiefs 22 @ Giants 9
Tyquan Thornton(5-71-1) scored again this week. He’s staying viable in the KC offense, but the true test will be when Xavier Worthy returns, which could be this week.
Kareem Hunt(10-34-1; 1-10) matched Isiah Pacheco(10-45) in carries on Sunday night – He also scored the only rushing TD. Pacheco isn’t doing much to keep him off the field, so he should be considered in PPR formats this week. Cam Skattebo(10-60-1) led the Giants backfield on Sunday with Tyrone Tracy succumbing to a shoulder injury. He’s a must add in all formats, though he’s already 75% owned.

Trade question: my Trey Benson for Emeka Egbuka
I have Hampton, Jeanty, Etienne, JCM, Tuten and B. Allen
Do we hold Jayden blue or is he even going to play this year.
Same goes for Christian Kirk or kayshon boutte
Out of the 3 who would you cut or are they worth keeping
