Trashman’s Garbage Grab Bag: Week 4

Trashman’s Garbage Grab Bag: Week 4

Lightly owned and raring to go. It’s your Week 4 Garbage Grab….

Wide Receiver

Paul Richardson, Redskins: Terry McLaurin is questionable with a hamstring and may be more of a decoy if he goes. Richardson has been doing work even with Laurin in the game though, posting an 8/83/1 line last week. He needs to be started in a cake matchup with the Giants.

Dorntrelle Inman, Chargers: No Henry, no Benjamin, no Williams, no problem. He’ll be cleaning up Keenan Allen’s scraps, but there should be plenty.

Keesean Johnson, Cardinals: Johnson should pick up where the injured Damiere Byrd left off as the no.3 WR in Arizona. He has 6 or 7 targets with his name on them in what should be a shootout with the Seahawks.

Deon Cain/Parris Campbell, Colts: Cain got the snaps last week, and Campbell has the upside. Cain is the safer play this week with no T.Y. Hilton, but Campbell was SPARQ freak at the Combine and one of my favorite WRs coming into the league this season. Both are low floor flexes in deep leagues.

Running Back

Rex Burkhead, Patriots: Make sure he’s good to go after being limited this week, but Burkhead played 75% of snaps last week and could get a lot of run again against the Bills, especially if the Pats get out to an early lead.

Ronald Jones, Buccaneers: Jones looks like the best back in Tampa, and though that’s not saying a whole lot, he’s in line for double-digit touches against a Rams team that is giving up the run.

Tight End

Vernon Davis, Redskins: Davis hasn’t hit paydirt in a couple games, but he was up against Dallas and Chicago. He gets a much comfier matchup with the Giants this week.

Dawson Knox, Bills: We all know Bill Belichick takes your best weapon away from you, and for the Bills that is John Brown. They’ll have to move the ball somehow and in a hurry, and that’s where Knox comes in. He’s coming off a 3/61/1 line, so we know he has it in him.

 Quarterback

Jacoby Brissett, Colts: Brissett has the 4th highest passer rating in the NFL through 4 weeks(115.1), and though he is without T.Y. Hilton this week, he should be a fine streamer against a suspect Raiders secondary.

      1. Prob Moore

Full point PPR. Marquise Brown or Christian Kirk?

  4. I need a bottom of The Trashman’s barrel TE streamer for a 14 team PPR league this week.
“Best” names available on the wire are the likes of Doyle, Higbee and Burton.
Good feelings about any of the above?

    Thanks,

    Champ Champ (2-1)

  5. Major Disaster 2-1
If Godwin and Edelman play as expected do you start them?
I have Mecole Hardman, John Ross and Darrel Williams on bench.
    Thanks Trashman

  8. Insane Clowney Posse, 0-3 (argh, but third highest total points, go figure). Standard league, start Godwin at LAR or Ridley vs TEN? Thanks!

      1. Zero catches at the half… Fantasy Football is a fickle mistress… 😉

  9. 1 pt PPR…

Chris Godwin (with questionable hip) vs LAR OR…
Sutton with Ramsey potentially out vs JAX?

    Thinking of sticking with Godwin

    1. I think sutton is a safe pivot but Godwin could come through

  10. Standard non ppr. Looking to upgrade TE. What you guys think about trading away Chubb & OJ Howard to receive Engram and Singletary OR Waller and Singletary?

My other RBs are Ingram, Montgomery, R. Freeman

    Thanks RW!

  11. Baker is my QB should I trade Chark for Rivers or keep Chark and pick up Kyle Allen?

  12. Thank you , I need to drop Coleman or Hyde, which would you drop?

  13. .5 PPR

    1-2 team

Do you guys trust Godwin to play, and produce, or would you search through the garbage heap and grab one of the guys mentioned above or a Preston Williams off FA to plug in, instead of Godwin?

    1. I’m in a similar situation. Gonna have to roll Godwin despite the tough matchup.

  19. Would you consider starting john ross over Julian Edelman given Edelman’s chest injury?

  20. Antonio Brown, hold or drop for best on waivers? Will Fuller is available

  21. If Robby Anderson is a free agent would you drop Tony Pollard for him (not a Zeke owner)?
