Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 11
These are the best bets for fantasy relevance of those players owned in fewer than 35% of leagues. Nasty Nate strikes again! Here is your Garbage Grab for week 11:
Nate Washington WR, Texans: The Texans play the Jets this week, and Hopkins should draw Revis for much of the game, leaving Washington and the rest of the Houston WR corps. to soak up targets. Nasty Nate stands to benefit the most of that bunch.
Zach Miller TE, Bears: Miller has been lighting up the box score over the past couple of weeks, and an iffy Alshon Jeffery should only increase Miller’s looks against a Denver team that is vulnerable to TEs — compared to the WR or RB position at least.
James White RB, Patriots: White will help make up part of the committee that is going to attempt to mitigate the loss of Edelman. As the third down back in New England, White is going to get a chance to contribute, though I wouldn’t say he’s going to be the kind of fantasy contributor that Dion Lewis was.
Jay Ajayi RB, Dolphins: He hasn’t broken out yet, but it’s just a matter of time before Ajayi has a monster on the field. He’s outperformed Lamar Miller in both games he’s been in since stepping into action a couple weeks ago, and he’s got a tasty matchup versus the lowly Cowboys this week — even if it’s on limited carries.
Devin Funchess WR, Panthers: WR Philly Brown is very questionable this week, and he’s been on the field 80% of the time to this point in the season. Funchess, who was already on the upward slant is going to get more snaps and more looks in the wake of a potential Brown absence.
Joique Bell RB, Lions: This one isn’t that hard. Bell is getting the most carries in Detroit — 14 last week — and though the Raiders have been playing well, there’s a good chance of him scoring a TD in the matchup.
Wes Welker/Brian Quick WR, Rams: Stream one or both of these guys if you like. The offense allergic Nick Foles has been benched for Case Keenum — who will at least take some chances — and the Rams are facing the best possible matchup for WRs in the Ravens. Welker has the higher floor, but this could be the game Quick owners are asking for.
Coby Fleener TE, Colts: Fleener is going to be one of Hasselbeck’s favorite targets going forward, and he’s got a cherry matchup versus Atlanta this week.
Robert Woods WR, Bills: The Patriots, Buffalo’s opponent this week, are lax against the pass. They’ll do their best to shut down the Bill’s running game though, and that will leave Buffalo with no other recourse but to beat them in the air.
Lance Moore WR, Lions: Three TDs over the last 4 games. That’s all I need to know to gamble in deep leagues.

Used the cheat sheet on 4 leagues im in. After today i will be 4-7 in 3 and 5-6 in my 16 team. Would have had better luck throwing darts. Diggs was the only good thing that happened to my teams this year. Just saying. Not all of roster watch nation has even an average team.
A lot of possible combos on the Cheat Sheet… it’s not perfect… I’ve had mixed results… but I used it week before last in DFS and won all 3 of my contests… a 5 player winner take all ($45) and another 5 player winner take all ($22.50) and $35 in the $20 millionaire deal.
This last week I used it and am in 2nd place in two 5 player contests for $45 ea and one 5 player contest for $22.50. All the team owners in 1st have nobody left… I have Amendola and Gronk… just need 23 pts so I’m feeling pretty good about those. Cheat Sheet works for me.
It’s been an unpredictable year with injuries. Only the lucky are winners this season.
First night winning had a couple of epic mistakes in df, 2 games I put in Weeden instead of Keenam, the 5 points I lost didn’t cost me any money luckily…I played $51 on 6 contests and won $110. The last 3 weeks I lost by less than 5 points each week, so it felt good to win. Definitely used your advice… Thanks
Mr. Trashman,
Can’t seem to get it right with my quarterbacks. Who would you start Matt Ryan or Derek Carr? Went Carr based on match up whoa was that bad. Also, your thoughts on starting either Ivory or Matt Jones.
Thanks
John
I’d go Ryan this week. I’d go Ivodry over Jones too
