Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 11

Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 11

Some repeats from last week, but there’s no need to fix what’s not broken. Here’s the Week 11 Grab…

Quarterback

Blake Bortles, Jaguars: Bortles has strung together back to back strong games, and hopefully he can keep that up now that he has Fournette to take some of the pressure off on a regular basis. The Jags’ opponent this week, the Steelers, have been playing better, but they’re still a middling pass defense.

Running Back

Theo Riddick, Lions: Riddick benefits from Marvin Jones being absent this week. He could be second in targets to Kenny Golladay.

Wide Receiver

Donte Moncrief, Jaguars: Moncrief has been sneakily productive his last few games(98 yards and a TD last week), but the spectre of a bust performance looms menacingly. He’s a risk, but he could pay off big against the Steelers.

Dede Westbrook, Jaguars: Westbrook isn’t putting up Moncrief’s yardage, but he’s being targeted heavily(10 in Week 10). He’s more of a PPR play, but he’s solid on that front.

Maurice Harris, Redskins: Harris is at it again, leading the Redskins in receiving over the last 2 weeks. Much like Westbrook, he’s more useful in PPR formats, and he’s solid flex therein.

Tre’Quan Smith, Saints: Smith has one more week as the de facto no.2 in New Orleans, before Brandon Marshall comes in and complicates things. Smith gets his best opportunity too to make some noise against a shaky Eagles secondary that gets exploited due to their stout run defense.

Tight End

Jonnu Smith, Titans: Corey Davis is the only healthy WR that has started a game for the Titans this season, so Marcus Mariota may look to depend on Smith more than usual. What’s more is that Smith has scored in 2 straight weeks, and Indy, their opponent, gives up major points to TEs.

  1. 12 team ppr, any reason to start Riddick over his team mate K Johnson? And would you start M Harris over Sutton? Thanks and goodluck

    1. I’m in a similar situation but going to roll Kerryon myself and Sutton.

    2. i don’t think so. KJ is averaging about 5 rec a game over his last 3. i could start harris over sutton in a ppr. you’re just not going to have as much upside

Rough start but on the upswing full ppr 6-4 plays qb 2rbs 3wrs TE and Flex

    I need 1 RB 1 WR and 1 flex.
RBs: Fournette, Lindsay, L Miller, Kerryon
    WRs: Amari, Sutton, Westbrook, Miller

Current starters are Saquon, Ty Hilton and Davante Adams. Thanks

      Is this Chad

    2. KJ, Cooper, Fournette

  3. Why can’t I launch the dynasty rookie spreadsheet? I am trying to go back and verify how accurate you guys were this summer.

    1. That’s a question for Alex, as he edits most of the content, but I’m thinking it has something to do with us not being able to update it consistently enough to maintain its relevance as quality content, once the season is underway. It’s one thing to be able to go back and reference it, but we wouldn’t necessarily want someone trying to use it if it’s not up to date.

  4. PPR. Sutton or Doug Martin in flex?

    Thanks

    1. they’re close to even. I’d probably lean sutton in ppr

  5. 12 team PPR DARTH DEBA 5-5
    Sutton or Coutee?
    Thansk

  6. PPR league. I’m already starting Kareem Hunt and David Johnson.

I can start one more out of these 3:

    Dalvin Cook
    Leonard Fournette
    Dion Lewis

What we think RW nation? Mitch vs Vikes or Dak vs Falcons

  8. Fitzpatrick or Mariota at QB & Corey Davis, Allen Robinson or Alex Collins in the flex. Half point PPR. Thank you!

  9. Post By woo.jonathanwoo

    I like Mariota’s run that he’s on.

Collins is facing a Bengals run defense that is missing a lot at LB and has given up rushing TDs in 6/9 games (including four straight). The matchups say Collins.

  10. Ppr flex Richard or Jordan Howard

    1. Post By woo.jonathanwoo

Minnestoa is just such a stingy run defense, I’d have to lean Richard.

    Ppr Mack or Keeryon Johnson?

  12. Post By jacob.duncan51@gmail.com

    Swinging for the fence.
    Played lockett and scantling.

    So I need some help.

    Mixon or J. Richard
    Agholor or J. Reynolds
    K. Allen is available but not digging the match up vs Denver.

    1. Mixon, reynolds if you’re swinging , I’d play allen though

    PPR need two flex spots:
Lamar Miller, Jordan Howard, Adam humphries, Maurice Harris

  14. Hey RW … I have a last minute question as I have some doubts based on match ups and qb situation in bmore: (half pt ppr)
    I need one of each…
WR2: John Brown (I current have him in), Josh Reynolds (on my bench), Anthony Miller (on my bench)
(Keke, Mo Harris, Christian Kirk, Tre’Quan Smith all on waivers)

    TE: Heurmann or RSJ

BIG THANKS & Best of luck out there today RW NATION!

  15. Standard scoring w/ 2RB,m 2WR and 1Flex (RB or WR). The 6 I’m choosing from (must sit one) are:
    Fournette/KJohnson/ACollins/Juju/TY Hilton/KAllen.

I’m considering TY or Allen (due to matchup and think LA will be running mostly). I’m leaning to sit Keenan. Any feedback?

    RW Nation!
    Team Name: Dumbledore’s Army
    Record: (soon to be 7-4)
    12 team dynasty, non-PPR
Since Jim Harbaugh clearly DESPISES Alex Collins, should I look to trade a receiver to acquire a better RB 3, or stick with Collins?

    My Roster:
    QB: A. Rodgers
    RB’s: K.Hunt, D. Johnson, A. Collins, M. Davis, S. Ware
    WR’s: A. Brown, J. Landry, L. Fitzgerald, A. Miller, C. Kirk
    TE’s: G. Kittle, D. Njoku

Collins has a very favorable schedule remaining, outside of the fantasy championship week. Yeah, he doesn’t get volume, but he’s got a good chance to get into the end zone in weeks 12-15. You’d have to get pretty creative to bunch Collins into a package to get a better RB3.

I’m eager to trade for him in one of my leagues, but his owner is mathematically eliminated (I think it’s in poor taste to engage in trades in that scenario).

Trade Mack and chubb for AB?

    1. Post By woo.jonathanwoo

I assume you’re trying to get AB. Do you need to win this next week or is this for a deep playoff run? I really like Chubb and Mack’s matchups for this coming week, so I’d be cautious to trade them away if you need the win now.

AB gets the Saints for championship week.
