Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 13
Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 13
It’s almost playoff time, so I hope you don’t have to resort to too many waiver wire options, but I’ve got the goods if you need ‘em…
Running Back
Ito Smith, Falcons
It was Smith, not Brian Hill, who ended up leading the Falcons backfield last week, putting up 65 yards and a TD against the Raiders. Todd Gurley is out again this week, so it looks like Smith has a chance to get you some points again, but just keep in mind that the Falcons are playing the Saints who have arguably the best run defense in the league.
Kerryon Johnson, Lions
Johnson put up 98 all-purpose yards last week with D’Andre Swift out with a concussion, even with Adrian Peterson splitting carries. The Lions play Chicago this week, so Johnson might actually be more useful than AP, as Johnson is implemented more in the passing game and the Bears defend the run well.
Wide Receiver
Keke Coutee, Texans
Will Fuller got popped for PEDs, so now it’s Brandin Cooks, and Coutee at the top of the target share totem pole. The Texans play a stifling Indy defense this week, but Coutee should get enough targets to make it worth your while.
Breshad Perriman, Jets
Perriman has been a consistent deep threat and red-zone option for the Jets over the last 3 weeks, scoring 3 TDs and over 50 yards a game during that span. Denzel Mims is also a valid option here, but Perriman has better TDs odds.
Josh Reynolds, Rams
Reynolds is getting the targets, he’s averaging almost 8 a game over his last 5, and it’s only a matter of time before he pops off in the box score. He’ll have a great chance to do so against the Cardinals this week.
Tight End
Jordan Reed, 49ers
Reed is running as the top TE in San Fran while George Kittle is on IR, and he’s garnered 6 targets a game over his last 2. His opponent this week, Buffalo, defends receivers well but is the 5th best matchup for TEs.
Kyle Rudolph, Vikings
Irv Smith is sidelined, so Rudolph will continue to get the bulk of TE work for the 2nd straight week. Rudolph caught 7 passes for 68 yards last week while Smith was out, and his matchup is even better this week, as Jacksonville is the 6th best matchup for TEs.
Quarterback
Ryan Fitzpatrick, Dolphins
Fitzpatrick threw 2 TDs in relief of an injured Tua Tagovailoa last week, and he’ll likely throw 2 or more again against the Bengals in Week 13, should he get the start. Tua had a setback this week, so his availability looks doubtful.

Hey need a to pick one between Justin Jefferson or Brandin Cooks and also I don’t think I start the orher over Michael Thomas? Need a W for playoffs
Jefferson and Cooks are locked in top 15 WRs. Try to pick them both up. Jefferson is the higher priority in my judgement. Good luck!
1. Already starting Big Ben, Adams, Ridley, Montgomery and Gibson but need 1 FLEX out of:
Half-PPR
Diontae Johnson vs. WAS
Booker @ NYJ
Hunt @TEN
Samuel vs. BU
2. Cousins is available, would you drop Big Ben for him?
Booker has 15 touches in his back pocket this week. That is start worthy in any format.
Cousins is red hot right now. It is a safer play, but When Ben plays in that new short pass offense, he racks up the points.
So my lineup would be
WR: Michael Thomas
Stefon Diggs
Flex Justin Jefferson
And bench Cooks?
Flex spot PPR
Damien harris, dobbins or juju
Juju is dialed in with Ben right now. He is the player I’d go to.
Need a hand to keep me in the playoff picture:
PPR leagues.
Tee Higgins or Perriman?
CEH or Pittman?
Reed or Firkser?
Thank you guys! RosterWatch nation is the best!
Higgins seemed to have a floor with the poor QB play. Both he and BP have similar risks, but I like Higgins here.
Pittman over CEH since we do not know if CEH is going to be playing.
Firkser is worth a roll here. Reed higher upside IMO, but also more in game injury risk
1 Pt PPR. Desperate. Need 2 between Crowder, Agholor, Landry, Coutee
Landry has performed well and is mostly reliable. It is possible he is finally over his injuries. Of the other 3 they all have ZERO floor. Crowder seems like the best of the 3, but very little confidence he will out-perform the other guys. Good luck!
Hey fellas I need 1 Wr & flex full point ppr from Corey Davis, Deebo Samuel, Kirk, Booker, A Gibson, or David Johnson. Great show so far this morning.
I would play a red hot Gibson coming in no matter the matchup. For your Flex Deebo is a must start. He looks like himself again. Good luck!
The Jaquizz Stains. 7-5
1/2 PPR. Flex spot
Drake or Kupp?
Drake is the one I’d go with here. Both good plays, but I’d lean to the RB in this case Good luck!
standard scoring flex dobbins, kareem hunt, or diontae johnson?
other league
.5 ppr if CEH plays flex him or Crowder?
Kunt even in Non PPR is likely the best bet.
CEH…if he plays is the one. but you may be forced to make that choice before 1pm today. KC is tonight
Herbert or Lamar jackson if he goes?
Pretty easily Herbert for me.
Zeke, Dobbins or Booker – pick 2
I go Booker and Zeke
Need Input,
Full point ppr. I need to fill 2 wr/rb/te spots from the following:
Michael Pittman
Denzel Mims
Corey Davis
Ceedee
Tyler Boyd
Chase Edmonds
Devin Singletary
Thanks
Davis and Pittman for me, GL
Thanks Alex
(1ppr) Need 2 WR:
Michael Thomas,
Allen Robinson
Julio Jones
Justin Jefferson
Need 1 FLEX:
JK Dobbins or any WR left from above list?
Jefferson, Robinson, Julio
1 Pt PPR. This is just sad. Need two RBs between CHE, Jonathan Taylor, Giovani Bernard and Ito Smith. If CHE doesn’t lay, I have Darrel Williams. Thanks in advance. Need to win to make the playoffs.
CEH + Taylor
Aiyuk or David Johnson for flex? 1/2 pt PPR – Also, David Johnson over Jonathan Taylor?
I rank those Taylor – DJ – Aiyuk
Still hanging on by a thread. I need 20 pts from one of
Deebo
Claypool
0.5 ppr
Thanks guys
Both have the fire power to get you to 20. I prefer Deebo, but its a coin fliop. Good luck we will be cheering for you!
Thanks Alan. I’m thinking game flow will favor deebo a bit more. Even though Buffalo stinks against the run
Is it crazy to drop Baltimore Defense for Dallas Defense for last 2 week playoff push?
