Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 4
Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 4
RosterWatch.com
This week’s cruddy crop of waiver wire waste is chock full of potential weekly winners. With so many injuries befalling your studs, trashy is the only way to go for some us. Happy dumpster diving.
Quincy Enunwa WR, Jets: With Eric Decker gone for this week and probably a lot longer, Enunwa is a must add in all formats and a fine flex play this week.
Robert Woods WR, Bills: Woods’ situation is much like Enunwa’s with Sammy Watkins being placed on IR until at least week 12. Woods is the closest thing the Bills have to a no.1 receiver now and makes for a solid play against the Pats.
Adam Humphries WR, Buccaneers: Humphries is the no.2 in Tampa, sorry Vince Jackson, and his targets have gone up every week – with 12 in week 3. Going up against the daunting Broncos defense this week, Winston is likely to get his dink and dunk game over the middle, making Humphries a little, big target.
Terrance Williams WR, Cowboys: Cole Beasley makes for a fine play in this game, especially if Dez sits, which is likely, but Beasley is widely owned and out of Garbage Grab range. Williams had the biggest up tick when Dez got hurt last week and stands to have a good day against the 49ers.
Orleans Darkwa WR, Giants: He’s nothing special talent wise, but Darkwa is likely to be the de facto starter against the Vikings this week.
Terrence West RB, Ravens: Justin Forsett is benched and West is getting the start against a very beatable Raiders front.
Dwayne Washington RB, Lions: Washington looked like the best back for Detroit last week with limited carries. I have a feeling the Lions will unleash him against arguably the worst running defense in the league.
Jack Doyle TE, Colts: Doyle is second on the team in targets right now in a hobbled receiving corps. He’s a strong play against the reeling Jaguars.
Hunter Henry TE, Chargers: Henry is still largely un-owned, but he’s a prime fill in for the injured Antonio Gates. Henry hasn’t missed a step since coming in last week and should continue to reap benefits for those willing to risk starting him.
Brian Hoyer QB, Bears: Hoyer gets his 2nd start of the season this week against a Lions defense that has allowed a league leading 10 TDs this season. Stinks pretty good.
