Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 4

Trashman Header                             Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 4

What a mess this season is turning into! Fortunately, it’s the perfect environment for a Trashman to thrive in. Happy Dumpster Diving friends!

Wide Receiver

Andy Isabella, Cardinals: 10% Owned

Isabella caught 2 TDs last week, and with D’Andre Hopkins and Chrisitan Kirk questionable, he could be in for a big day against Carolina. Even if Kirk is the only one to sit on Sunday, Isabella is worth a flex.

Preston Williams, Dolphins: 34% Owned

Williams has been light on targets so far, but he has the best matchup in the league for WRs in the Seahawks this week, and the 4th worst matchup for TEs so Mike Gesicki will have a much tougher time.

Tee Higgins, Bengals: 31% Owned

Higgins has been elevated to 3rd WR in an offense that is going to have to throw a lot to stay in games. In all honesty, Honesty could be the no.2 or even 1 in Cincy when the season is over with A.J. Green starting to show his age. Coming of a 9 target, 2 TD game, he’s well worth a flex start against Jacksonville this week.

Greg Ward, Eagles: 16% Owned

Rookie John Hightower logged the most snaps for Eagles WRs last week, but Ward led the team in receiving with 8 receptions for 72 yards and a TD. Even against the 49ers, he’ll command double digit targets again this week.

Running Back

Gio Bernard, Bengals: 18% Owned

Bernard is not a lock to get worthwhile carries in Week 4, but with Joe Mixon coming up with a chest injury late in the week, he could end up being the main ball carrier against Jacksonville this week. He’s worth an add to wait and see.

Jeff Wilson, 49ers: 40% owned

Wilson is the most owned player on the list, but he might also be the most useful this week. He scored twice in Week 3 with Raheem Mostert out and was an asset in the passing and running game. Mostert is out again this week, so Wilson will have a major role, even with Jerrick McKinnon around.

Tight End

Mo Alie-Cox, Colts: 32% Owned

MAC has feasted the past 2 weeks, and his role in the Colts offense is likely to grow now that Michael Pittman is lost until Week 8 at best, starting with the Bears. A TE has scored against Chicago in 2 of 3 weeks this season.

Robert Tonyan, Packers: 17% Owned

Tonyan could be 2nd in targets this week if worse comes to worse and Davante Adams sits. Even if Adams plays, Tonyan will be in line for considerable action against the Falcons, who are the 2nd best matchup for TEs in the league.

Quarterback

Ryan Fitzpatrick, Dolphins: 31% Owned

Fitzpatrick has outperformed the likes of Deshaun Watson and Matt Stafford the last couple of weeks, putting up at 28+ fantasy points a game in that time. He faces a Seattle team this week that is the 2nd best matchup for QBs this season. Expect another shootout in Miami.

  1. Thanks, Trashman! Need (2) from these wr’s in PPR: M Brown, Hilton, C Lamb, J Jefferson, or Ward. w Renfrow on waivers. Need upside for struggling team. Appreciate it!

    1. And Cooks is even available…hmmm.. thanks.

    2. Post By Alan Seslowsky

If upside is what you need, then HW Brown and Lamb are your plays . If you want a floor guy, I am liking Ward this week

  2. half point ppr. If Chris Carson is active should I take a chance on him making it through the entire game & play him over Hollywood Brown, Ceedee Lamb & Mark Ingram?

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

If he is active we can presume full health. I’d go with him.

Debo or Alshon rest of szn?

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Deebo for sure. Not sure Alshon is rosterable. OK to hold if you like but never reliable. Good uck!

  4. PPR Flex: Josh Kelley, Shenault, Anthony Miller

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

The golden son Ant Miller looks better with Foles.

  5. Josh Allen or DeShaun Watson?

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Allen in a possible let down spot, but he is red hot. Dont fade just yet.

      1. Tha k you, sir.

DJ Moore or D Parker (standard) and David Johnson or Mixon (standard). Thanks.

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

  10. Play the song!

  11. .5 PPR

Shenault, Gage, Ward, MVS, Preston Williams?

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Ward is the player with floor and a bit up upside.

  12. I have Mahomes, but with the uncertainty of the game I feel I have to start Fitzpatrick… league voted and no relief if Chiefs don’t play.

    Mahomes or Fitz?

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Start Mahomes. The game is being played Monday.

  13. Carson or Mike Davis in PPR?

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

I’m riding Mike Davis hot hand right now

  14. Need 2 of 4 in a PPR . AJ Green, Golden Tate, Zach Pascal, Antonio Gibson

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Though the floor is low, I like Pascal today for his ability to fight for tough passes in the redzone. Go with him and Antonio Gibson. Tough choices since non have bankable floors. Good luck!

  15. .5 PPR

    Carson or Gallup?

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

If Carson is active we should assume full health. Go with him

  16. Post By BluntTrauma 57

    Jeff Wilson or joe mixon

    1. Post By BluntTrauma 57

Also HW brown scary terry devonte freeman or Antonio Gibson both leagues are ppr

      1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Terry Mc as long as he is active

    2. Post By Alan Seslowsky

I’d stay with Mixon. Though you need to adjust expectations

  17. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Ward is the player with floor and a bit up upside.

  18. Post By BluntTrauma 57

    Thank you very much sir

  19. .5 ppr need 2 RBs from
    J Kelley
    A Gibson
    J Wilson Jr.

  20. Isabella, Golden Tate or Scotty Miller in ppr?

    1. I’d go with Tate in PPR

  21. Post By jasongarritty@yahoo.ca

I need to sit Fuller or Gurley. Which one?

  22. Post By jasongarritty@yahoo.ca

I need to sit Fuller or Gurley. Which one? Help!!!

    1. Gurley if you need a floor play, Fuller if you prefer a ceiling play.

  23. I picked up Gage the other day just incase Ridley wasn’t playing Monday should I drop him and pick up Arizona’s defense, really don’t want to drop New England any thoughts ???

  24. Robert Woods or Allen Robinson?

  25. Post By Vmtrigg@msn.com

Ppr need 1 wr Parker or fuller

  26. Carson, drake, J Robinson. Need two. Standard.

  27. Post By gurpindersdeol@gmail.com

Kenyan Drake looks like a terrible player. What are we doing with this guy?

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

He is a hold, but not an auto start

  28. Soo is it time to drop Aj green yet or wait til he gets traded by the end of the month

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

You can drop AJG without regret. Tee Higgins already starting to eat away at his targets

  29. A team in my league dropped Brady yesterday. Would you pick him up and drop Ryan ?
    Thanks

    1. me? no. i do not want the oldest QB as my starter.
matt ryan is on pace for over 700 pass attempts to a solid WR corps.
      my $0.02

    2. Post By Alan Seslowsky

I’d prefer Matt Ryan, but it is so close

  30. Twice Baked Potatoes 2-2

    Evan Engram…start, bench, or drop???

    (30) targets / (17) recs [both stats lead all TEs on my wire]
ZERO TDs…I anticipated a #6-12 TE given NYG offensive woes.
after four games will Engram regress to the mean in TDs & yardage given his target volume?

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Who would you be dropping him for? How many usable options are out there?

      1. uninjured TEs available on WW with dbl-digit ownership %…
jonnu smith / jimmy graham / mo alie-cox / robert tonyan / eric ebron / austin hooper / gronk / jack doyle

        thanks in advance Alan!

Welp Adams is out but….I got Rex and Gage on my bench. I’m starting Ty Freak and need 40 points…Who should be my 2nd start?

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Hard trust a NE RB. 16 games 16 different game plans. I’d go Gage, but don’t be surprised if Rex has a big day

      1. Post By The Frugal Degenerate

No, doubt thanks for the feedback. I’m hoping with Sony and Cam out they use Rex more.

        1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

          I’ll be routing for you!

  32. Post By dylanlittlee@gmail.com

    Edelman or MVS tonight???

    1. my $0.02, the guy catching passes from Aaron Rodgers

  33. Post By woo.jonathanwoo

Alright RW Nation, I want to see if I can break your brains…

    My status a week ago:
    – A Mixon owner, waiting on a great performance against JAX to sell high
    – A Melvin Gordon owner, waiting on a great performance without Lindsay active to sell high
    – An OBJ owner, waiting on a great performance against DAL to sell high (possibly with Mixon to upgrade at RB)
    – An Ekeler owner, relishing his strong Week 3 performance and waiting for more.

    My status tonight:
    – Mixon performance. Check.
    – Gordon performance. Check.
    – OBJ performance. Check.
    – Ekeler. Out 4-6 weeks.

    Questions:
    – I still don’t think Gordon is a hold. But is he a hold now with Ekeler out?
    – I’d still like to ship Mixon after a career game. But is that advisable with Ekeler out?
    – What do you see from the OBJ game that makes you think he’s a keep?
    – How much do you trust Joshua Kelley?

    1. Post By woo.jonathanwoo

Mixon, Ekeler and Gordon are my RBs 1, 2 and 3.

I’ve got Zack Moss and Kelley on my bench after dealing Fournette before his injury.

  34. I need a WR bad. The guy that has chubb only has Singletary has his other starting RB. He has A Thielen. A Cooper, C Kupp, M Brown.

I have Mixon, Drake, J Kelly. A Gibson. L Murray. My Wr. is Evans. D Slayton, J Jefferson, TY Hilton, M Jones.

What do you suggest I package?

  35. Looking to churn the bench! On waivers, DJohnson,Gus,Dobbins,Vaughn. Already own Rojo, droppable players Ebron,CDavis,Gallop
