Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 6

Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 6

These are my stinkiest, sneakiest plays for week 6. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

QB – Alex Smith, Chiefs: Smith will look to continue his impressive, for him, season against a Raiders secondary that can’t stop leaking. He’s as          safe as you can get this week.

RB – Jalen Richard, Raiders: You’re looking for a couple of big plays to make Richard very fantasy relevant, but he’s almost certain to get just            that with Murray out again and a Chiefs defense that is weak against the run. He’ll split carries with Washington, but he’ll still get into                the double digits.

Bilal Powell, Jets: Powell has reasserted himself as the pass-catching back in New York. He’ll come in handy against an Arizona team that          is tough to run up the middle on.

WR – Jamison Crowder, Redskins: Crowder had been fading in recent weeks, but the loss of Reed this week to concussion makes him a                         potential target hound against the Eagles.

Torrey Smith, 49ers: I normally hate Smith in fantasy, but the demotion of Gabbert and subsequent promotion of Kaepernick makes him           a potent deep threat, although potentially very TD dependent.

Eli Rogers, Steelers: Rogers will make the start if Coates sits, which is almost certain. He’s not quite the field stretching red-zoone target             that Coates is, but Rogers will rack up targets against a pitiful Miami defense.

Davante Adams, Packers: Adams has been quietly amassing targets in the Packers offense, and though the Cowboys have been doing a               good job against no.1 WRs, thanks to Mo Claiborne, they’ve been giving up major yards to secondary options, especially in the end-zone.

TE – C.J. Fiedorowicz, Texans: Injuries to other Houston TEs and a shrinking QB in Brock Osweiler has made C.J. a viable weekly play the last          few weeks. He’ll be in a similar situation this week against the flimsy Colts defense.
