Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 6

Trashman Header                               Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 6

It’s Week 6, and it’s time to take this treasure trove of trashy treats to the bank. Here’s the Grab….

Wide Receiver

Christian Kirk, Cardinals

Kirk has started to come on as of late, with 57+ yards or a TD in 3 of his last 5,

and there are few matchups as cherry for deep ball receivers as the Dallas Cowboys. He could go big this week folks.

Travis  Fulgham, Eagles

The de facto no.1 receiver for the Eagles the last couple of weeks, Fulgham is fresh off a 150+ yard, 1 TD monster in Week 5. I don’t know much about this kid, but his recent play speaks for itself. Even in a tough matchup with Baltimore, he should see enough targets to pay off in fantasy.

Preston Williams, Dolphins

Williams had his best game of the season last week, going over 100 yards and scoring a TD against the 49ers. It may be a fluke, but there’s no better team to find out against than the Jets. He’s worth a flex.

Running Back

Frank Gore, Jets

Gore is now the starter in New York, now that LeVeon Bell is a Chief. The upside as the starting back for the Jets isn’t high, but Gore should get considerable touches. La’Michal Perine is probably worth an add too, while we wait to see how this backfield gets sorted out.

Malcolm Brown, Rams

Neither the matchup, nor his recent history bodes well for Brown, but there just aren’t many RB options going right now. I figure Brown has as good a chance of any Rams back of getting the hot hand and potentially scoring this week.

Tight End

Trey Burton, Colts

No Mo Alie-Cox this week means Burton should get most of the looks at tight end this week. Jack Doyle is still around, but he’s been fading. Burton is the man in Indy these days.

Quarterback

Kirk Cousins, Vikings

Cousins has given us plenty of reasons not to want to rely on him in fantasy, but his matchup this week against the Falcons is just too good. Atlanta has given up the most fantasy points to QBs this season, and the Viking may have to rely on the pass a bit more with no Dalvin Cook this week.

I’m going back to Drake one more time, but it can go very wrong on you here.

  5. PPR. Engram or Gesicki. Also would you trade Melvin Gordon for Jonathan Taylor rest of season. Thanks
