Trashman’s Week 12 Garbage Grab

Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 12

The picks don’t go down easy, but the best medicine rarely tastes good. This week’s Grab will cure what ails you going into Week 12…

Running Back

Roschon Johnson, Bears – 28% rostered

Johnson has been resurrected by new OC Thomas Jones, who loves the power running game. The matchup with Minnesota is tough for runners, but if and when the Bears get to the goal line, Johnson will be the RB in use.

Wide Receivers

Noah Brown, Commanders – 24% rostered

Brown had a down week in WK11, but he played more snaps than any Commanders WR, including Terry McLaurin. He’ll get plenty of opportunities to chew up yardage against a reeling Cowboys squad.

Adam Thielen, Panthers – 25% rostered

Thielen faces the Chiefs his first week back, after missing 8 weeks to a hamstring injury. KC isn’t an easy team to produce against, but Thielen should get enough targets to warrant consideration in PPR formats.

Alec Pierce, Colts – 20% rostered

With the high game total( points) this week, someone is going to have to go off for the Colts, and we know Josh Downs will produce, but Pierce has been on a small tear as well. He’s gone over 70 yards his last two games, and he’s Indy’s best bet down field.

Tight End

Theo Johnson, Giants – 2% rostered

A TE is a young QB’s best friend, and Johnson has gotten 6 targets in each of his last 2 games. Tampa is a top 5 matchup for opposing TEs, so Johnson could really pop this week, especially if Malik Nabers ends up sitting or re injures his groin.

Quarterback

Tommy DeVito, Giants – 7% rostered

I like DeVito more than Daniel Jones, but I always love QBs that run for TDs in fantasy. The matchup with Tampa is right, and DeVito is going to rely on his legs in his first game out this season. He’s not a downgrade next to Jones, especially as a runner.
