Trashman’s Week 14 Garbage Grab

Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 14
Allay your concerns with the Trashman’s Garbage Grab. We have the most RBs in contention we’ve maybe ever had this week, so dig in…

Running Back
Sincere McCormick – 11% rostered
Ameer Abdullah is likely to play this week, but McCormick outplayed him last week and should see significant action again, if Alexander Mattison sits.

Travis Homer, Bears – 4% rostered
D’Andre Swift (quad) looks like he will give it a go on Sunday, but Homer will be in the mix as well with Roschon Johnson out. More of a passing down back, Homer is more useful in PPR formats.

Isaiah Davis, Jets – 4% rostered
Davis will backup usual backup Braelon Allen, with Breece Hall(knee) sidelined this week. Davis was a Senior Bowl standout and could see significant touches against a middling Miami front seven.

Patrick Taylor, 49ers – 2% rostered
Taylor will split time with new starter Isaac Guerendo in the 49er backfield this Sunday. Taylor projects to catch more passes than Guerendo and is a risky but possibly rewarding fantasy play.

Wide Receivers
Brandin Cooks, Cowboys – 14% rostered
Cooks was solid in his first game back this season after sitting out for over half of the season, scoring a TD. CeeDee lamb was questionable all week so perhaps Cooks will get a few more looks.

Darius Slayton, Giants – 7% rostered
Slayton will be the biggest beneficiary of Malik Nabers possibly sitting on Sunday, as he’s a deep threat on the other end of Drew Lock’s big arm. Whether Lock can deliver the ball consistently is another question all together.

Calvin Austin, Steelers – 5% rostered
Austin keeps finding success thanks to Russell Wilson, scoring in his last 2 contests. With little firepower outside of Austin, George Pickens and Pat Freiermuth, their big 3 should get peppered with targets on Sunday.

Tight End
Chig Okonkwo, Titans – 5% rostered
Okonkwo had the most targets(6) he’s had all season last week, and while he has been uneven throughout the season, the Titans are upticking his usage. Play him sparingly, but he could break off a massive chunk at any given offensive snap.

Quarterback
Will Levis, Titans – 19% rostered
Levis has been a new man these past few weeks, limiting his turnovers and throwing for over 200 yards in 3 straight contests. He gets the top matchup for opposing QBs this week, the Jaguars, and he should be able to feast. The only question is whether Levis turns into a pumpkin at midnight.
