Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 3

The fantasy season is only two weeks old, but your roster already looks like it’s been living off gas station burritos and expired milk. Don’t worry, I put my gloves on, opened the lid, and I’ve fished out some shiny scraps from the dumpster that could actually win you a week. Let’s dig in…

Running Back

Tyler Allgeier, Falcons – 39% rostered
Bijan is the star, but Allgeier is still the bulldozer at the stripe. He’s a poor man’s vulture, but touchdowns count the same in the box score.

Kareem Hunt, Chiefs – 29% rostered
 9 touches last week, and he has the best matchup in football for RBs. You could do worse.

Wide Receiver

Cedric Tillman, Browns – 36% rostered
Tillman has scored in both games thus far, and hasn’t had fewer than 7 targets in either game. You can flex him in any format. 

Elic Ayomanor, Titans – 20% rostered
Ayomanor hasn’t gotten targeted quite as much as Tillman, but he’s averaged 6.5 targets thus far and he scored in his last matchup. He and Cam Ward are developing a dangerous rapport and will only get better. 

Dontayvion Wicks, Packers – 3% rostered
With Jayden Reed out with a broken collarbone, Wicks is now heavily in the mix for a WK3 tilt with a beatable Browns secondary. He’s going to flirt with double-digit targets. 

Tight End

Ja’Tavion Sanders, Panthers – 7% rostered

No TE was targeted more than Sanders in WK2(9). That makes him a solid streaming option, despite going up against the Falcons’ stout TE defense. 

Quarterback

Jake Browning, Bengals – 25% rostered
Burrow’s hurt, and Browning put up 240+ yards and 3 total TDs in relief. Not glamorous, but he can stream respectably in a middling matchup with the Vikings.

Sam Darnold, Seahawks – 18% rostered
Remember him? He’s back… in streamer form. A workable floor if you’re desperate, with some weapons around him to make it tolerable.
