Trashman’s Week 4 Garbage Grab

Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 4

It’s Week 4, and pickings are slim at RB, but there are numerous pass-catchers you can turn to in a pinch. Here’s the Grab…

Running Back

Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Chiefs – 18% rostered

Albeit in a blowout of Chicago, CEH is coming off a 16 touch Wk3. The Chiefs play the Jets the week, and though the defense is stout, New York has little chance of keeping up with KC’s offense, leaving plenty of touches for CEH in garbage time.

Wide Receivers

Michael Gallup, Cowboys – 19% rostered

Gallup is coming off a 7 catch, 92 yard Wk3, and in Wk4 he’ll face a Patriots team that sells out to stop a team’s best player, which in this case is CeeDee Lamb. Look for Dak Prescott to look for his old familiar Gallup to fill the gap.

Josh Down, Colts – 11% rostered

The speedy Downs was targeted 12 times in a Wk3 win against the Ravens, and he’ll look to get a fast start this week against a Rams team that utilizes its own slighter WRs often. It’s obvious he’s got a leg up on Alec Pierce, and Downs could serve as the no.2 WR gong forward in Indy.

Robert Woods, Texans – 10% rostered

My sweet baby Tank Dell is the favored start for Houston WRs, but Woods has led in targets throughout the first 3 games(25). He’s not a big play guy, but he’ll offer a solid floor in PPR formats.

Tight End

Donald Parham, Chargers – 18% rostered

He’s not getting a ton of targets, but Parham has scored 3 TDs in 3 games. Now that Mike Williams is out, he could see a boost in looks to go with those consistent red-zone targets. Herbert obviously likes him in the end-zone.

Quarterback

Sam Howell, Commanders – 18% rostered

Ok, so Wk3 was abysmal for Howell, but before that he was averaging over 20 fantasy points per game. This week, he’ll go to Philly, where he’ll go against an Eagles secondary that is a top 5 matchup for opposing QBs. Look for the 2nd year QB to bounce back this week.
