PRO Trashman’s Week 5 Flex Rankings: RB, WR, TE

Trashman HeaderOften times, there is nothing tougher (or more important) than deciding who your weekly flex-plays are. It can be a mind-numbing experience having to make cross-positional projections.

This season, our RosterWatch PRO community will have personal and exclusive access to our very own disgusting Trashman, who has carefully curated his personal weekly flex rankings in order to help you in gaining input about your roster decisions. Please refer to the Rankings tab for our staff positional rankings.

    Hey Trashman! Thanks as usual for the rankings! Do you like Gordon III or M. Davis ros in PPR? I have a trade package in the works for C Edmonds, and will hold the best one as my RB 3 with Kamara. Might be a coin flip I know…..Thanks!

      It’s a coin flip for me since TM isn’t answering but I lean to Gordon, actually. The edge goes to the guy who plays in the AFC West where teams are daring opponents to run vs. the NFC east where they are built to shut down traditional opposing RBs. Very tough tho.

    16 team .5 ppr for RBS 1 PPR for WR/TE. We start 2 RB 2 WR TE and Flex (RB/WR/TE)

    Current Squad

    RBs: A Jones, Gibson, Gainwell, Mi Carter, Bernard
    WRs: Lamb, Higgins, AB, Patrick, E Moore, R Moore

    Have Jeudy on IR

    We can only roster 5 RBS and 6 WRs

    Was offered Mike Davis for Lamb, obviously shot it down without hesitation. Im thinking of countering with Bernard and Patrick with the hope that Jeudy comes back in the next few weeks and a slight upgrade on RB depth. Do you think that is a good counter? worst that happens is I stay with who I currently have. Thanks

      If you’re not planning on starting Collins this week, where he seems like a better play than Sermon, then No. Collins turns back to dust when Carson is back while Sermon should retain a role.

      If you mean Lamical Perine, then yes drop him and get Laviska. If you mean Samaje and you are not planning on using him this week, I still drop him to make that move for Viska. He’ll go apeshit once Urban gets fired and we get some compete DGAF coaching around there.

    Super flex Question: Do y’all think Fitzmagic is coming back to a starting role this season for the WFT? I have Heinicke too, but Fitz is in IR spot. Could drop Fitz, move Will Fuller to IR, and grab Van Jefferson. Or just cut bait on Fuller and hold my precious QBs

      I would not unless you are super deep at RB – and have grave concerns about AJ. If so, then Adams is always a solid option- but I would not do it

    I’m no Trashman but I’m thinking this is b/t: Mooney, Rondale, Hines – maybe check the Vegas tool and the snap counts,touches, targets to decipher b/t those three. Rondale has the best matchup on the matchup tool but clearly he’s the lower volume guy of the 3- so I’d check the inputs on the others.
